Makes sense its his forst time.
He had to use the Super emeralds just to go Super.
But he learned and now can go Super just as easily as Sonic and Knux

In Mania. Sonic Mania isn’t in line with the rest of the Sonic games and considered as an “alternate timeline” due to the generations thing. The Super form Tails acquired in Sonic Heroes doesn’t count to me. You can’t tell me that having a simple golden shield with nothing else counts as a super form. Plus they Iizuka stated that Super Forms in the main sonic canon are exclusive to “male hedgehogs” apparently. Which is stupid and sad at the same time.
Only Mania Tails could go truly super with the chaos emeralds and not our Regular tails sadly, since that doesn’t have the whole “male hedgehogs only” rule.

But S3NK still happened in Mania's timeline.
Infact you say this but you must also Remember that Super Tails as depicted here is also not canon as the Super Emeralds are sadly not canon.
My theroy is In Mania's Timeline The Super Emeralds were Canon but were a One time thing considering the Emerald shaped Stones sitting in there Spots.

I think the super emeralds were canon. I remember hearing a theory of someone saying that the powers of Hyper Sonic altered his appearance afterwards and was the reason he had blue eyes and was stronger and such.

Sonic has Green Eyes.
And that can't be because theres games between Sonic3NK and Adventure and Sonic didn't get his Green eyes til Adventure.

I don’t think they’re widely considered canon but more so spinoffs. Sonic Spinball is definitely not canon, that’s for sure.
