"How long is it now untill the winter leave us alone, until it slithers away with its many prisioners?"There's still winter in Sweden, and I just don't get why. I like warmth more.

Sweden is close to the polar regions, that's why.

Last year it was warm and sunny by May and now there's still snow in april :I This doesn't occour that often.

That or the axial tilt adjusted your country's closeness to the polar region due to the previous earthquake.
