Good news and bad news...
I'm submitting a render for the first time in ages, and it's not a Super Mario Bros or Legend Of Zelda one, for once.
...But...it's unfinished. 
I just got sick of it sitting dormant on my hard drive for months, so I'm putting it up as-is for now. Yep, yet another WIP. I suck.This is one of about a dozen renders that I've yet to finish, because I ran into one obstacle or another in completing them. At least with this one, I'm a little over 90% done. I also have an alternate version that I hope to submit soon. This one's the split screen, dual vantage render.
Everything, except the sideline (spectator) bikers in the foreground, is accurate to the game's sprites. I added the alternate-colored bikers, the trophy/stand, and the title screen logo (it's meant to appear painted onto the grass, like an NFL endzone or a Nascar infield has) to spruce up the blank area a little.
Thank you for looking, hope you like. I'll also try to upload some Perler bead sprites today before this tropical storm comes and kills my electricity.

I remember when I was a kid, a friend of mine & me stayed up almost all night creating custom racetracks in the game's level creator feature. (The best thing about Excitebike.)

Another good render, but you need one of the thumbs up (or was it a wave)... that's what winning in excitebike was all about... ^^

Yeah, I really did slack off with the final touches on this render. I initially meant to have each biker in a different pose - one jumping, one riding level, one wiping out, and the frontrunning guy doing the 'thumbs up' wheelie. I just got really lazy and only modeled two poses. This still needs the camera men and the sandbags added, also. I just never make time to work on these renders any more. Hopefully I'll get the urge to soon, though.
