Description I don't know what made me make this, but here it is. It took me two days only because I had part of it finished and lost my....vision. It returned the next day, thanks to my husband.

Why is this named "Doktor"? Hmm...well, in part because doctors frighten me. Worse than that, some of the Nazi's doctors were worse than I could ever want to dream of. I am most frightened of Dr. Joseph Mengele and what he was capable of: [link]

Another reason for the name, ever seen Hellraiser 2? *shudders* If you haven't, watch it just for that doctor.

So, that's it. For "Doktor" in it's full...glory...fullview.

WOW! Sooooooo scary!
Exactly what it's supposed to be, the absolutely nightmarish image of doctors in our minds (and probably what Mengele looks like in hell right now). Great work!

PS the fear mood is actually a compliment...

Don't worry, I took all of your comments as a compliment!

Crazy doctors have always held a special interest for me. Particularly Mengele, actually. You just can't think to imagine what sort of mind could have, so easily, allowed him to do what he did and do it without guilt or remorse, even in later years.

And Hellraiser 2's Dok (I think, Channard was the name!?) was equally crazy ^^ Nice job.

neserit In reply to deaddoll00 [2005-10-17 06:37:50 +0000 UTC]

I'm pretty sure that Channard was his name. That guy actually scared me out of going to the hospital or having to stay in one over night for years!

I actually don't want to know what goes on in the heads of those doctors. I'd rather just have them examined and quickly shut away, you know?

Thank you!

Not going to the hospital where this guy works.

Hospitals are awful places unless you are rich.
Looks great.

Ghost ship and gothika were pretty interesting movies.
Like the switch from psychological to a ghost story in Gothika.

Saw "The grudge" recently.
Its a pretty decent watch, even though one of the people in it was kinda stupid.
If I see that someone is walking funny and they left a lot of blood on the floor, will not hang around and ask them questions.

neserit In reply to sevenofeleven [2005-07-12 20:31:47 +0000 UTC]

*lol* I wouldn't either!

I'm not a fan of hospitals. Not one bit.

The original Japanese version of "The Grudge" is much scarier and makes more sense than the American version.
But, I agree with you. If I see the same, my ass is outta there!

this definitely calls to mind the stories my grandfather told me after returning from WWII (well, the ones he told me when I was old enough!). he was an American Army medic, who also happened to be a german immigrant trying to repay the country who had taken in his family. till the day he died, he never was able to put the things he saw in the camps from his mind. the horrors preyed on his dreams so badly he was on sleeping pills to avoid dreaming at all. this guy is straight from his nightmares! really well done hun . .. creepy and hideous and horrifying, but well done!!

Thank you.
That's something about your grandfather. I don't think I ever want to know what he saw there. I don't even want to imagine.

redLillith In reply to neserit [2005-04-28 05:42:41 +0000 UTC]

being a medic, he got to see more than most, up close and horribly personal. he never talked about it much, but what he was willing to share was awful. and I know it wasn't the worst . . . just what he could make himself remember in daylight. war is horrid. I think he shared with us (his grandkids) because he felt like that war was being forgotten . . and I honestly think it scared him. we are doomed to repeat what we forget. and we should never forget! {I don't like imagining it either, but some images here, like this one, call the stories to mind - and that affects me!} this image is a trigger, a reminder. the worst horror in the world is perpetrated by humanity on humanity . . . and nothing in movies can even come close.
