You're welcome! And I'm going to be completely honest with you... I think it's a guy. But he has a lot of feminine characteristics, like the high cheeckbones, full lips, and small chin.
But the feet and eyebrows and chest make me believe that this is a guy. But it is quite confusing...

Mmm, I think that the realistic part does make it more difficult. In that style of the picture you linked, everything is over the top... Like, fancy clothes and hair with strange colours and such... And somehow that changes what typical stuff you expect from female persons and male person. In that style, women have big big boobs and sexy over the top lips. Males don't have big muscles and have more female characteristics too, but they are easily recognizable since females are so OBVIOUSLY female.
If you mix that up with realism, people expect different things from males.

About the link you gave me... There's the same problem! I wouldn't know if it's a boy or a girl, although I think a boy The English translation of the Chinese says: "He walks..." So I assume it's a boy. The last comment given on this piece was "Your women are gorgeous. Do you use models, or is this from the mind?"
So I really think it's just a problem if you mix realism with the over-the-top-attributes-and-stuff-style
