FULL-VIEW OR DOWNLOADI've been meaning to do another Tutorial for forever, so here you are! How to submit your deviations to a #Group!
Members of my Groups #Hello-Sweetie and #1-Hr-WRITING-Contest sometimes ask me how to go about submitting to groups, so I decided that I would make a Tutorial so I wouldn't have to repeat myself.

On most of deviations I've seen, there has always been "Deviation title" by "Author name". How can I do it, that you'll see "Deviation title" in "Group name", by "Author name"?

I need it in a specific folder for a contest and I've submitted twice and nothing yet. No acceptation or decline.Β

I can only sent art to the featured folder when I'm trying to put it in a different folder, Im a contributor of this group. Could this be because of how the group was made or was it due to other reasons?

In a group I am co-founder of, we can't Β figure out how to get the "Contribute Art" button on the home page, just the "Submit Art" button, which makes people upload a picture. Β Help!

I know this tutorial is a few years old, but do you know what happens to the correspondence message if you don't hold on to it? Do you have to submit again?

It just disappears. It doesn't effect your submissions. It's just a good way to keep track of whether or not you've been accepted.

It's confusing managing multiple groups over time. Is there any way to keep track of what art you have submitted where? Or is there a chance of having duplicates in the same group? Thanks in advance for the help!

I have a question for point 4)
If i click on that option, I only see one group that is the only one I'm a contributor of. All the other groups I'm member of (not contributor )do not show.... why?

I have a question; in the second option is it okay to submit it to a group that I'm not a member of? Are there rules that you have to be a member/watcher to be able to submit?

It depends on the settings of the group. Most groups - from what I've experience - will require you to become a member before you're allowed to submit anything.
There are some groups, however, that do have "open" submission, which means that you don't have to be a member of the group in order to submit your pieces. These are rare, though.

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me with something. My friends and I started a new group, but we can't figure out how to make the submission process easy for our members. Whenever they try to submit their art to our group, it takes them back to the submit art thing and basically makes them submit their piece to the website all over again except this time they click the 'only feature this in the group' this is so they don't have to have a duplicate picture in their gallery. We want to make it easier for our members, please help.

That sounds more like a glitch. I've never heard of the happening otherwise. I would ask the ~helpdesk .

Thanks so much for this tutorial. I've been having some problems with the submit group form, and it was very helpful. I would only suggest adding somewhere that people can include a groups widget on their profile page. That's another handy tool that I've discovered.
I have a problem though, and I was wondering if you might be able to help, or direct me to someone on DA that could. I'm a member of about 15 groups, and have submitted images to all but two of them. But when I pull up the "Submit to my groups" form, it only shows me six or seven groups. I understand that you have to submit to a group to have it show in the widget, but even when I do it still doesn't show. So my question is this: Is submitting from my own page/art the only way for the group to show up in submit form? Does submitting the image through the group's "contribute art" button not count, and that's why it's not showing up in my "submit to my groups" field? No one else seems to have this problem, so I don't know if it's me or not. Thanks for any assistance you can give. I've looked everywhere, read tons of comments, but I haven't been able to find anything about submit form snafus. Thanks so much!!!
