Description Just some study sketches.

1. The 'ribs' on Axis' torso are not only to support his flexibility, but also links the chemical pack on his back to the rest of his system. He doesn't always act it, but Axis is very cautious when it comes to chemicals. Only the most dangerous are stored on his person for 'emergency' cases.

2. This is probably the ONLY other drawing other than his profile picture of the club that's a full body shot. Christ I hate drawing legs....

3. Terra and Axis! Chibified for convenience and because I am one LAZY artist.

4. Just to demonstrate Axis' Wolverine claws.

5. Pre-war Axis, Terra, and Skidlock. While Skidlock can be protective of his younger brother, he became worried when Terra and Axis became closer, thinking Axis had ulterior motives. He started hanging out to keep an eye on them while Axis was wary that Skidlock--who got everything he wanted while Axis always got the short end of the stick--would take Terra away. Turns out Terra and Skids got along great and Axis learned to bear his brother's presence--though he was always unsettled when the two were alone...

Aww...chibified Axis and Terra are so cute. *squee* He almost doesn't look that dangerous. But then you see his claws, and that feeling goes away. # 5 is a kodak moment I think. I don't think that Terra and Skidlock would make as cute a couple as Terra and Axis.

Oh, good thing Terra and Skidlock don't think so either. Axis is suspicious, but trusts Terra enough to drop the idea, though.

That is so true. They tend to get you when you don't expect it.

They make great family, but Terra brings out the good in Axis. It so cute that he trusts her...you don't see that often.

I actually made him that way. I don't show it on paper often enough and he is the prankster, but he often gets his butt handed to him in the RP chat room and I love it. It's no fun having a character you can't kick around for shit and giggles. xDDD

Hey, you totally can! You already understand how to go above the usual faces like: :3 or XD when drawing and it just starts there. It doesn't hurt to watch disney or fox movies either--you can learn a lot from the good old animation movies. I personally love rewatching "Ferngully", "Aladdin", and "Treasure Planet". >3

Heh, I love how you can alternately make Axis look like a complete goober, and then one of the scariest crazy-looking mofo's on the base. XD Damn, but he can be a sexy thing when he wants to be...*ogles that fine shot of his rib-plates* He's so adorable when he's in "baroo?" mode. XDD

Awww, I like the pic on the bottom, Terra and Skidlock just yapping away at whatever, and Axis doing his possessive little twitch. XD I like how you have Terra's hands securely around Axis' arm; no doubt to anyone who she's with.

lol, that's really what I was aiming for with Axis. He's the guy that you don't really know what he's thinking. He'd rather act the part of the fool than be serious, but you have to watch out when he stops messing around because underestimating him is a bad idea. Then again, I'm probably giving him too much credit. I don't get to RP serious Axis enough... :c

These two are probably the cutest and most dynamic couple I have kicking around... Terra is pretty innocent in the fact that she loves Axis for his faults and nobody can tell her otherwise. And Axis loves her enough to do ANYTHING for her, but is always afraid that she might leave him.

Hahahah, I dunno, from what I've seen, he could seriously screw someone over if he wanted to. I certainly wouldn't want to get on his bad side; he has waaaaaaaaay too fertile an imagination for me to want to give him reasons to make my life hell. XD

It's okay. Little warmer than I thought, but totally cool. Nothing compared to Oklahoma's usual 100's, but I'm not gonna lie that this heat's been sneaking up on me. xD

Oh, y'know, homesickness is getting to me and my family's SO far away, but then again, I did just pick up roots in a small town and move to an entirely new bg. It's jolting, but interesting, to say the least. <: )

Not to toot my own horn, but he totally can. If given the chance, he can and will exploit anything given to him--be it info or a tangible object. I think the only person to be scared of more than me controlling Axis would be Insanity-24-7. That woman can get inside my head in a way it's SCARY.

Oh, there's a massive story behind it, but, in a nutshell, Axis was always the less-loved child because of his glitch. Skidlock, in contrast, was that perfect older kid that left the younger in the dust--but not purposely. He tries/tried to look out for Axis, but things don't have a way of working out for Axis all the time.

He's also freakishly skittish around medics and doctors due to the fact that his time at the Academy was spent not as a 'student' as most called it, but a test subject for one of the professors in order for them to study his glitch. It's also because of this that he HATES it when people understand him and prefers to be erratic and unpredictable. Terra was the one exception because she didn't try to 'fix'/change/understand him. She just rolled with what he did and he loves her for it.

hard to tell what Axis finds as an emergency, to be honest. He designed the thing to be impenetrable to avoid holes, but where would the fun be if it didn't spring a leak from time to time? xDDDD
