So here's what I did with the 2/3 or so skein of pearl cotton left over from [link] It's an abbreviated version of [link] with the middle rows left off. I originally tried it with the teardrop pearls in the same place but it's such a small and dainty version that they looked too big and out of place, so I just opted for the small pearls at both the center and the points. Same ribbon as the Rose Gothic Arch as well. Just a small dainty openwork lace.

My original design, copyright me 2013. #5 coton perle by DMC in 3832 Medium Raspberry with 2mm faux pearls, crocheted with a #6 hook, with a double-sided satin ribbon to tie on. And yes it needs to be dampened and blocked to hold the shape. :-P I'll do that before it goes on sale in my shop.
