So, you remember the Halloween episode ("Secrets") of Young Justice, right? If so, you'll recall that Superboy dressed up as a mummy and Kid Flash was a werewolf...or should I say Teen Wolf? Miss Martian went as a zombie bride but since Kid Flash's costume clearly resembled Teen Wolf, I couldn't help but wonder if her outfit was supposed to be a homage to the Corpse Bride, one of my all-time favourite movies.
Here is Miss Martian, more obviously dressed as the Corpse Bride (I mixed her costume from the episode with the design of the Corpse Bride's dress) with her boyfriend Superboy as Victor. It makes a fitting couple costume, as I reckon Miss Martian would be able to relate to the character of Emily, the sweet-natured Corpse Bride. The film would appeal to her as well, being a romance. Superboy, on the other hand, looks a bit clueless as to what he's doing (I doubt he's watched the movie more than once if at all!) and unintentionally seems to have got into character as a result!
