Will most likely have surpassed its goal of 25,000 signatures. When I last looked at 3:52PM MT on April 26, 2019, they were 65 signatures short of their goal.

BUT that's only the beginning. Yes, they have a bridge. Yes, Anson Mount and Ethan Peck are willing to return. Yes, Alex Kurtzman and CBS are now open to the idea. Yes, they have an Enterprise. Yes, they can swipe material from Discovery season 3 and beyond.

But even then Anson expressed concerns over him being away from his family for a while, and trying to get schedules to line up along with getting scripts that are fresh and new that coincides with Discovery and already established canon will be difficult.

If it takes a while, I'm willing to wait. But I'm betting it may not be until 2021 or 2022.
