I've known Matt Howerter a long time. In fact I started talking to Matt for my first commissions ever. He has brought to life my ideas for steampunk fantasy for the Iron Kingdoms. I've tried to show my support and appreciation for Matt's work since we first met.

When I told Matt about my contest for Turbulence he told me it was cool, and I though great! Knowing how incredible his work is I thought he would have an amazing entry.

Well today he showed me this. It wasn't a commission, it wasn't for the contest, It wasn't for anything... except me. He was just showing me the friendship and support back I've shown him. I was blown away.

This is the second time in the past week where my past has come back to reward me. The first was reuniting with an old friend I hadn't seen for more than a decade. Without a beat he not only remembered me but we fell back into the same ol clowning around we did in the '90s.

And now Matt comes out of nowhere with this stunning work of my characters in yet another battle between nemesis. I don't know if I can even repay such a gift. But I'll try. Matt you have been... and continue to be... my friend. Thank You. (Obligatory Man Hug )
