A quick-sketch ensemble of the more popular Smurfs created for the theatrical films, together with their TV and comic counterparts. Top row, left to right: Crazy, Gutsy, Vexy, Hackus, Sassette, Narrator, and Panicky.
Bottom row, left to right: Greedy, Papa Smurf with Baby, Social, and Smurfette.
Panicky is about to faint from Social's surprise snapshot that is immediately going online. With clipboard in hand, Smurfette is organizing this smurfy backstage event. Baby is waving back at Crazy, while Greedy rolls out a cake congratulating the film Smurfs on their success. And, appropriately, this is taking place at Studio 15 of the Sony Pictures Studios backlot in Culver City. The Sony Studios, originally the MGM Studios, was where Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera made the "Tom and Jerry" theatrical cartoons from 1939 to 1957, and later with their own Hanna-Barbera studio animated the Smurfs on TV from 1981 to 1989.

Thanks! They're all one big smurfy family! As I've written before, I believe in bringing all the comic, cartoon and movie Smurfs together. Keeping the "universes" separate from each other makes no sense to me, especially when DC and Marvel have rebooted their TV, film and comic universes several times over in recent years (rebooting "The Amazing Spider-Man" just six years after the original trilogy) and nobody complains about it.
Why can't Sassette hang out with Narrator, or Vexy have fun with the Smurflings? People like it, so I'll keep on smurfin'!

Thanks! In my fan stories I will do my best to keep Hackus as slapstick zany as possible. And Vexy will bail him out of his hijinks because she really loves his brother nevertheless.
