They're girls, sisters, Smurfs and best friends. Smurfette, Vexy and Sassette are together for this smurfy group picture. Sassette is balancing herself on top of the grownups' hats, which somehow don't get squished. This is the first time I've ever drawn Vexy in her official style, a brunette with highlights and bright freckles, as well as her movie outfit. I usually draw Vex with brown hair, but just this once she's returning to her original brunette for all her smurfy fans. Just. This. Once.
Drawn and colored in Adobe Flash in a total of two hours. Updated 29 January 2014 with gold outline for Smurfette's hair as seen in "The Legend of Smurfy Hollow", larger freckles for Vexy, and black outlines for Sassette.

Later this year a new Smurfs children's book, "Rise and Shine", will be published in which Sassette actually is a cheerleader along with Smurfette.Β
