Description Yeah, I really dug doing this drawing. Whipped out my Punisher Max book and use Lewis Larosa's sketches to work this out. Big fan of the Max series, and Larosa was the definitive Frank Castle for me, with Goran Parlov a very, very close second. So I based my sketch off his. Happy with the end result.

40 minutes.

Papermate Flair and bootleg Sharpie markers over 2B mechanical pencil on sketch paper.

His t-shirt totally does it for me. Love how beat up he is as well, great job!

His shirts are some of the best parts to draw. The only Punisher I've really enjoyed was the Max run (before Rucka's current run), so I had to go that route and make him old, grizzled and beaten.

I agree, I enjoy the Max run as well. You did a hell of a job of capturing the beaten look.

An issue I have in general with heads, it seems. A lot of drawings of mine either have heads that are too long or too wide.

The man's been around the block a few thousand times.

Awesome--that is a face full of character and grit. I'm very certain I've never seen someone who's killed at least a thousand people by their own hand before, but I'm very certain now that I know the look.

Thanks. Proud of this one, even if I used someone else's piece as a base.
