Description As requested, here is my quick and hopefully understandable SketchUp tutorial on how to make a nice looking Vee Bottom Hull for a speed boat, catamaran, canoe, or space battleship!

I put more thought into the planning and work flow so hopefully this tut is easier to follow and understand than my turret tut. XD xP

Anyhow, enjoy my fellow Sketchers!

SketchUp is Google and Trimble's amazing 3D application.

LOL I forgot to draw in my arrow pointing to the From Contours Tool.... xP

I'll fix that in time... just follow along as if I actually did what I had intended to do.

Ok nevermind... I did a quick edit with MSPaint... xD

Good tut, Yuki. Gives me some inkling of an idea of how to render that deceptively complexly curvy bow section on my Nova class Explorers.

Ah thanks Stealth, it's just something that occurred to me after watching some Youtube sketchup tutorials regarding the Sandbox tools. I originally made a vee bottom by using push-pull extruding, and then scaling, but this method is far faster and with similar results that looks as good, if not BETTER!

I'm please that this can help you! I'm admittedly not the best at tutoring, however if it helps anyone, then I consider it Mission Accomplished. ^W^
