This version of Pink Diamond is basically the fun mom, but a lot more neglectful than the others. She encourages growth of her Gems and her fellow Diamonds, but never herself because she feels that she isn't good enough to need improvement. She adored White for how perfect she was, and often needed her as her voice of reason when things didn't go right. She loves the Diamonds more than anything else, and would go to the ends of Homeworld to protect them at her own risk. It's only when she realizes that she had a low self-esteem and that she didn't love herself that made her change. Her mind control powers would consist of turning her victims into collectable dolls customized to her liking, and move like wooden puppets and toys.
