Description
Sikue leans over to her friend and asks the other if she thinks Christmas had passed yet. She remembers their first so fondly.Now, all they had to measure the passing of time were the changing seasons.
Tatsuma gives the smallest of shrugs, unwilling to move more than necessary in the unpleasant chill.
Wanted to draw something Christmasy, but it ended up being less festive and more...chilly! Sikue and Tatsuma during their first year on their own. It's December 25th, but neither are aware. I'm pleased with how this one came out. Maybe Santa's present to them was that blanket and scarf.

I absolutely love your use of colours in this, the warm tones enveloped by cold with the extreme close up really makes it feel like such a tender moment.
I don't think I've said this before, but I've been blown away at how much your art has improved over the years, I don't remember quite how we met or how long ago it was but it's blossomed so fantastically and your art has become so solid with a really firm grasp of colour and framing behind you. It's so wonderful to see.
