Description
Bit too late for Christmas but when I tried to upload it before Christmas I got an error every time I tried and couldn't upload it sooner than today .

So this was my first ESS, I got to draw for:
Who has these awesome pirate horse characters all with extensive background stories, and that got me a bit carried away.
Was difficult to choose between the characters, doing more than one would definitely not be done in time. And then I noticed the skulltattoo on her character Captain Bonnie-Kate, my pony Lodewijk has an oval mark on the same leg on the exact same spot, so I thought that was funny and therefore I picked this char . So I wanted a pose that showed the tattoo, to save myself some time I used this reference picture: [link]

The info said Bonnie-Kate sails mostly around the Mediterranean area so I wanted to portray her in that environment.
I did change the font of her tattoo, I though a more piratey/tattoo font would look a bit better for the tattoo than the thin handwritten letters, but if you want to, it's on a different layer so I can make you a copy with the original tattoo design.

Long story short: I hope you like it and that you aren't too disappointed it's not in time for Christmas.
