Gosh i love my skunk butt <3 i need to play with her more <3

Taking the day to spend some time with her Blind adopted daughter Sia groomed her long flowing fur, of course she needed grooming often to prevent her fur from knotting up on her neck where it fluffed the most. They had played most the morning since both were up rather early together.

Lotus looked to her mother. "Mom... Do you think ill ever get to see what the others see?" She asked with the upmost curiosity.
Sia looked down at her daughter her expression one of knowing longing. She knew her daughter would never see as others would. Just as she lost her own sight, she knew the feeling of wanting to see the sun and moon rise, to her mate and family again...
"Darling... with or without sight it does not matter" She said calmly

Lotus looked to the direction of her voice, her nose just under her chin. "but... mother...if i cant see... how can i be a Boulder..." she asked with worry in her voice as she looked down away from her mothers direction of voice.

Sia gave a small sigh one of worry herself. "Lotus.. my little flower. Just because you can not see does not me you are no Less then any other pebble, stone, boulder even leader...I have seen many felines in my life time. Some with no sight. some with no hearing. some with missing limbs. That did not change the fact they were strong. You have to work hard for what you want to be, what you want to do."

Lotus looked back up as she listened to her mother words. "You really think i can be a leader one day?" She said a little more enthusiastic.

Sia smiled and tucked her head down to press into her daughters, gently booping her with her nose at first to feel where she was. her head gliding past her daughters as their cheeks rubbed together. "Of course my little flower. You can be anything you want to be and more...." She said warmly.

With a large smile of her own Lotus purred and pressed into her mothers warm thick neck fur. Her words rang strong in her head. Shed be the best she could be Blind or not.
