Blair

The sky was a dark in color. Mass clouds covered the sky in their darkness. It would likely rain later. But for the light pelted cheetah who sat Sadly on a small hill within Air territory, over looking the vast land she now called home. She hadn't been in Camp all morning. She had her apprentice go clean out dens for the day, hoped that didn't upset her to much. she just had to get away. Things had been bothering her with the war coming and.. and Saevio... She sighed and tilted her head to the sky closing her eyes. She knew this as love. She loved Saevio and she feared it so much. She was supposed to hate males. Least that was what she told herself. And she wasn't supposed to trust anyone.. But he.. he made her feel so safe and warm inside. She tended to find herself thinking about him all the time now a days and it made it hard to concentrate on the war. She even feared for his life fighting those hunters.... What was she to do... She lowered her head and flattened her ears trying her best to clear her thoughts.

Saevio

As the air thickened with the smell of rain, Saevio was on his way back to camp to seek shelter under some trees or perhaps the dens if the rain would proceed to be heavier than he thought. He strided solemnly through the moisture ridden grass, wetting his pelt as he went which only dampened his mood even more what with the inevitable war over the horizon and also... well... the lingering thoughts in his head of the last time he and Blair were together. That day was so perfect, but he had to go and open his mouth and pour his heart out to her only for her to flee without so much as a hint towards an answer. But the more he thought about it the more he understood why Blair fled. Perhaps he was being too hasty? Maybe she didn't feel the same way as he did towards her? Saevio had been beating himself down since that evening, "Stupid..." he muttered to himself talking about his own actions. He needed to find a way to clear his head, go hunting or something, but nothing seemed to work. There was no way of getting Blair out of his mind. In a way, it was driving him crazy.

He passed through a cluster of tall shrubs and trees, and on the other side something caught his eye. No, it couldn't be. Is it? It is! A little way into the distance Saevio spotted the unique pelt of the cheetah who had been plaguing his mind over the past few days. For a brief moment he thought about running over to her, but that thought was soon pushed out of his head when he realised she might be scared away again. Maybe she wasn't ready to talk to him yet. After all, he did ask her the most important question he'd ever asked and it would undoubtedly be the one thing they would need to speak about. But he did want to speak to her. But for now he sat himself down where he stood and just looked at her, to observe her body language and then decide whether or not he would proceed.

Blair

Blair let out a soft sigh and took in a deep breath. A small gust of wind blew toward her form Saevio's direction. No it couldn't be.. could it? She rose her head swiftly as the scent hit her. She knew that scent. Did he follow her? Did he really love her that much. Slowly she turned her head her eyes wet and watery from tears. There he was sitting as majestic as ever, He was so beautiful against the dark sky's light. She thought maybe she was just seeing things. He had been on her mind all day for the past few days since the day he told her. She was just so scared. She had never been close to anyone before. She never loved, She never felt these emotions, it was always fear and worry. But with him it was different. She felt so many new feelings and she feared those feelings but right now deep inside she just wanted him. Wanted his comfort. The touch of his fur on hers. Maybe it was time to follow her heart instead of her head.

She gave her head a shake and stood up, her voice low and soft as she looked him in the eyes. "Saevio...." she felt her eyes water more and she lunged forward running to him until she slowed enough to stop in front of him and press her face deep into his chest and neck fur. Not a word weeped form her mouth. Her body shook with fear and mixed emotions. She felt so weak, but she knew Saevio wouldn't see her that way , would he?. The feel of his warm fur pressed into hers almost calmed her instantly. But within those few moments Rain began to splatter her pelt and the ground, a light downfall.

Saevio

The most bizarre mixture of emotions swept over Saevio as Blair turned to face him. It was difficult to pinpoint the exact feelings he was feeling at that moment but there was no doubt that happiness and his love for her were the strongest he had ever felt before. Even in this dark light she seemed to shine above everything else and suddenly all he could see was her, the surroundings around him seemed to blur into nothingness.

As she began to sprint towards him he rose to his feet and trotted towards her. It was strange, his eyes quickly swelled with tears of happiness. After all, if she didn't share the same feelings as he did why would she be sprinting towards him with not even a single hint of aggression? As soon as Blair burrowed her head into his chest he craned his neck to kiss her on the top of her hair and proceeded to nestle his muzzle into the same spot, letting a loud purr rumble through his throat as he did so. "I missed you..." He whispered into her ear, somehow managing to avoid choking his words and with a loving smile across his face. He didn't even care about the rain, he was just happy to hear, see, smell, even feel the touch of her fur again.

Blair

Blair's body swirled with mixed emotions even she couldn't explain. She could only show him through her touch. He felt so warm against the cold wind and rain. She could feel his love fur her in the way he held her, his neck curled around hers in a loving embrace. Her ears pricked back as he whispered those sweet words into her ear.

I missed you...

Those three words made her choke up and she couldn't speak. He really did love her. Deep down inside she wanted nothing more then to be by his side and show him that same affection, yet she was still so scared to get to close and loose him or be hurt. Somehow between her sobs she manage to speak "I'm..I'm so scared Saevio.." She whispered into his fur.

Saevio

Saevio's heart jumped a little. Blair admitting she was scared? It wasn't like her to express feelings that made her feel weak, but that just proved to him how comfortable she was around him. He wrapped his tail around her flank and put a paw around her to pull her in closer. "I'd be lying if I wasn't a little scared myself," He took a deep breath and swallowed back his tears, "but what we have together just seems... right". He pulled his head away so he could look at Blair in her amethyst eyes.

"Blair, I love you." He spoke softly as he placed a paw on top of hers, "If you're not ready for this then I will wait for however long it will take until you are. A month, a year, five years? I will wait for you. And if you are ready, then nothing on this earth could make me happier."

Blair

She kept her body pressed into his. Trying to catch her breath from her sobs or worry and fear. He was scared to? Why was he scared? He had no reason to fear her. Or did he? She listened as he began to speak to her in a soft loving voice.

She teared up more as he spoke. She choked as she answered him. "I.. I just.. I'm so scared.. I was always a afraid of males.. of anyone. I kept so.. so composed.. hiding away my fear with anger... and you.. you were so nice to me... you have always been there for me..." She sniffled a bit rubbing her face in his fur, trying to get closer. "I just.. don't know what to do with these feelings.. I.. I've never felt them before... I'm scared to be hurt... I.. I think I'm in love with you.. at least I think that's what these butterflies in my belly are.. and after a while.. every time I saw you I felt so relaxed so safe... I.. I don't know.. is.. is this what love is Saevio.. I.. I don't want to hurt you either.. and.. and i know you'll wait for me.. I.. I can feel the way you feel towards me form your touch and when you look at me.. I can see in your eyes.. something I have never seen before..."

She pulled her head back and looked at him. "Saevio.. please... " But before she could speak a clash of thunder and a streak of lightning made the cheetah jump and press closer into him. "we should find shelter.." She didn't even realize she was shaking form the old rain and wind.

Saevio

Saevio listened intently at what she had to say. Had she really felt that way about all males? That may have explained her hostility towards him when they first met, but that was all in the past and new feelings had grown between the two. Stronger, more positive feelings, and Saevio was happy for that. He began to purr a little louder as she nuzzled her face closer to his chest. He smiled, placing his forehead against hers, "If that isn't love then I don't know what is... and don't worry, you could never hurt me and neither would I hurt you. I promise no one will ever hurt you again". He could see her eyes filled with tears with a few trickling down her face, he gently licked her cheek around where her scars were to clean her face, "Please, don't worry, I'm here for you".

As a clash of thunder echoed around them, he felt Blair jump under his chin and begin to shiver. Yes it would be best to find some shelter. He looked around and spotted a cluster of trees and a pile of large boulders which would proved some shelter from the rain and the main brunt of the wind. "This way." He rose to his feet and led her towards the make-shift shelter with his tail wrapped around her to give Blair at least a little warmth while they were on the move.

Blair

As Saevio licked her face, even on her bad side. The side of her face she hated. It made her purr softly , but she was shivering now realizing the cold. She listened to his words ad they hit her right in her heart. She nodded as he got up and walked to find shelter. She kept her body close to his. and jumped every time a clash of thunder waved the sky. Seavio's tail kept her more calm then warm and she appreciated that. She saw where they were headed. She hoped it would provide good shelter for now.

Saevio

Saevio sat himself down on the damp grass after shaking most of the water off himself under the shelter, well sort of shelter, but it would do for now. He proceeded to lick the side of Blair's face which was closer to himself and her shoulder to clean off some of the rain water. Then he slung one paw around her again in an attempt to calm her shivering and placing his head upon hers as he watched out across the bleak scene in front of them. "I reckon we should stay here for a little while, at least until the worst of the rain passes before we make a dash for camp" he said raising his voice a little, enough for Blair to hear him over the sound of the falling rain. He turned his attention to Blair's words that were cut off as the thunder erupted a few minutes ago, "What were you about to say before the weather cut you off?".

Blair

Blair shook out her now wet pelt and nodded her head in agreement to his suggestion as she hunkered down , curling up to keep warm, letting out a odd sounding purring, She had never really purred before so it sounded odd to her. She looked up at him as licked her face. it felt nice to her, calming and relaxing. She blushed a bit as he asked her to finish what she was saying. Her voice got low and shy. "oh I... I don't remember now..." She said even though she knew what she wanted to say , she was more nervous then anything.

Saevio

"Oh... well... when you remember I'll be all ears", Saevio knew she was lying, he could read her like a book, but he didn't want to push her to answer anything right now since a lot had happened in such a short space of time. Maybe she just needed to rest a moment. But from what he could tell, she seemed a little uneasy, but what for?

A thought came to Saevio's mind as the two sat together in the middle of a rain storm, "Blair," he began to ask, "what have you been doing these past few days? I haven't seen you around since... that evening...." He paused and let out a deep breath,"I was worried about you...".

Blair

Blair tilted her head to look at him. She didn't want to tell him she was avoiding him. She was just so unsure and lost she need to be away. She looked down. "I was keeping busy and staying away from camp... I was just needed some time. so i kept my apprentice out with me all day training. I hope I wasn't to hard on her. But she's strong I'm sure she's alright. I gave her a break today..."

She felt bad for having avoided him for so long. Deep down she was missing him the whole time. She turned her head and placed it on his paws and nuzzled her face into his chest. He made her feel so safe. "I'm sorry I was gone...."

Saevio

As Blair nestled into his fur Saevio did the same, pressing his head on top of hers again allowing some trickles of precipitation to drip from his nose to her neck. He let out a deep sigh as he thought about how much he truly missed her over these past days. Sure he may have been upset and possibly a little angry when she fled, not because she left but more because he didn't hear from her in days afterwards, partly about her but mostly to himself. But that didn't matter now, "All that matters is that your back now... with me...".

A moment after he said this he realised he hadn't received an official answer to the question that lead to Blair's disappearance. He knew what her answer would be, or at least what he hoped it would be, but he wanted to hear it from Blair and not his head.

He pulled his head away and looked down to Blair, still nestled in his chest fur, "So Blair" he paused, feeling his heart beginning to beat faster out of anticipation, "will you do me the honour of becoming my mate?"

Blair

She felt so comforted by his warm words. He really did miss her. Even if only for a few days. She had to admit she missed him to. Missed his scent and missed seeing him in the gladiators den due to she wasn't sleeping there. She felt bad now. Knowing she caused him sorrow. She just pressed her body as close a possible and soaked in his warm scent and body heat.

She tilted her head as he pulled back and stated her name. Her heart suddenly fluttered. Was he gonna ask her again? Would she freeze? OR run again? She pulled her head back till they were almost touching noses. Her purple eyes stared into his flamy colored ones. She always loved his eyes. She seemed to cock as he asked the same words he did the night she ran. She froze. Both in fear and Happiness. She let out a soft sigh and closed her eyes as she leaned forward and touched her nose to his. Her voice was soft, and low. almost unhearable over the storm.

"Of course I will.... "

Saevio

As he looked into Blair's deep purple eyes he knew that he was ready for this, he always knew he was ready for this, and upon hearing her sweet words his heart began to rush and it felt as though it would leap right out of his throat. At that moment it felt as though his life was finally complete, as if Blair was the missing piece to his puzzle.
Saevio didn't utter a word for the first few moments but instead pulled his mate even closer towards him, wrapping both paws around her and coiling his tail around hers. As the storm brewed around the couple, their love for each other did the same though even more so. At the risk of completely breaking down in tears of happiness Saevio decided, for now anyway, to softly utter only a few choice words:

"I love you".

Blair

She was quiet as he was. hearing the storm above. Her stomach felt like a raging storm. Happiness / fear and Confusion all in one. Though her confusion mostly came form trying to understand her emotions. She felt his body grow closer . his paws wrapped softly around her holding her closer then ever. His words made her confusion all go away. Nothing but happiness and Wanting filled her. This feeling. The feeling of being wanted and loved filled her body. it had been so long since she felt these feelings. No.. she had never felt this feeling before and it felt so good. She didn't want it to stop. she lifted herself lightly to wrap her paws around his large body lightly pressing her face ever farther into his fur. making her unable to whisper the same three words back at the moment.

She tilted her head as he pulled back and stated her name. Her heart suddenly fluttered. Was he gonna ask her again? Would she freeze? OR run again? She pulled her head back till they were almost touching noses. Her purple eyes stared into his flamy colored ones. She always loved his eyes. She seemed to cock as he asked the same words he did the night she ran. She froze. Both in fear and Happiness. She let out a soft sigh and closed her eyes as she leaned forward and touched her nose to his. Her voice was soft, and low. almost unhearable over the storm.

"Of course I will.... "

Saevio

As he looked into Blair's deep purple eyes he knew that he was ready for this, he always knew he was ready for this, and upon hearing her sweet words his heart began to rush and it felt as though it would leap right out of his throat. At that moment it felt as though his life was finally complete, as if Blair was the missing piece to his puzzle.
Saevio didn't utter a word for the first few moments but instead pulled his mate even closer towards him, wrapping both paws around her and coiling his tail around hers. As the storm brewed around the couple, their love for each other did the same though even more so. At the risk of completely breaking down in tears of happiness Saevio decided, for now anyway, to softly utter only a few choice words:

"I love you".

Blair

She was quiet as he was. hearing the storm above. Her stomach felt like a raging storm. Happiness / fear and Confusion all in one. Though her confusion mostly came form trying to understand her emotions. She felt his body grow closer . his paws wrapped softly around her holding her closer then ever. His words made her confusion all go away. Nothing but happiness and Wanting filled her. This feeling. The feeling of being wanted and loved filled her body. it had been so long since she felt these feelings. No.. she had never felt this feeling before and it felt so good. She didn't want it to stop. she lifted herself lightly to wrap her paws around his large body lightly pressing her face ever farther into his fur. making her unable to whisper the same three words back at the moment.

I CANT GET ENOUGH OF THEM THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH HELL AND BACK WITH THEIR RELATIONSHIP AND I JUST CANT EVEN !!!
