Very nice, very nice indeed.
Since I never watched the show aside from a few clips here and there, did all of the original five girls have their own element, or was it only four out of five? Nonetheless, this one heck of a group shot!

Yeah, I need to get on a major uninterupted Voltron binge to get caught up.
In the cartoon, lightning is included for the lead Guardian.
For this commission, I chose to give the Air Guardian due to an idea I’ve been tossing around for a fanfic where there are advanced powers for each element, with enhanced speed and lightning going to Air, and Talia’s ability to manipulated Water in non-liquid forms, especially ice.

So then advanced Earth would be metal/iron, or advanced air would be...actually I've got nothing for that part.

Yes to the metal, Air would get Lightning due something like manipulating particles in the air and creating a static discharge, much more powerful than socks rubbing on carpet.

I’ve also considered aFire-based shield or teleport/diversionary burst of flames (like a flash-bang grenade) to aid in escape.
I would have done smoke (ninja influence), but I’m 50/50 on that; plus, Earth could do something similar and Water has mist/vapor, too.
