So, Rarity realized that the airship was named after not one, but two historic disasters.
Oh, the Equinity, they named the airship partially after the ill fated Hindenburg.
She also realizes it's the 100 year anniversary of the April 15th sinking of the Titanic.

I kinda thought a Canterlot ship would be the "HMS So-and-so" due to Equestria being a nation ruled by royalty. Then again, there are two rulers (Celestia and Luna), so it probably wouldn't be "Her Majesty's Ship". It'd be "Their Majesty's Ship".
