There's NO WAY Sega would ever have team dark (not including omega) take a vacay because like shadow would ever take a vacation from fighting sonic and I dunno about rouge but I mean they have to add her and mostly cuz I want to see some knuxouge(especially cuz knuckles has more muscle)and about that website,I've read what he/or she wrote about amy.I don't think Sega would ever have Amy as sonic's proclaimed girlfriend(mostly cuz sonic NEVER(ok maybe at some points)returns her feelings).....and if anything I just hope she isn't too sonic-crazed as usual

Shadow as Eggman's Henchman?
The word 'bumbling' seems kind of out of place, although the other words can be found applicable - it's not like Shadow has ever gone out of his way to help people if it's not in his interests too, so 'lazy', while not the best word, has some basis in reality. And even though he's not stupid, Rouge has always been the 'brains' and leader of Team Dark. And Rouge is such a BITCH sometimes.
But some of those character descriptions - like Knuckles being mellow - are SO FREAKING STUPID that they SCREAM 'bullshit'. And while I can imagine Silver as a bratty neighbour, I just can't see him as a villain. Just like everything about Sonic Boom that has been advertised so far, I'm taking it with a pinch of salt. And I assure you, my pinches of salt are hovering at the fatal dose.
And what the hell, Knuckles' design kinda grew on me so who knows? If Sonic Fans stop being so damn bitchy about keeping absolutely everything the same, they might end up liking it. Sonic Boom is supposed to be funny, after all.
Besides, Sega has confirmed this is NOT a reboot; it's gonna be something hovering outside of the games, like Sonic X was.

Shadow in hawian outfit??? That is certanly just wrong!!! I'd imagine him wearing a vampire's cape with a tux or a dark blue jacket, with ripped up pants.

I'd imagine him with sharp teeth ,creepy eyes, smiles disturbingly, and a purple scarf (purple is the opposite of brown isn't shadow supposed to be the opposite of sonic?)

Oooh boy...after reading that article...MAN do I not want these rumors to be true.
I can get redesigning the characters in the show for appealing to younger audiences, and I could care less if it didn't affect the games' take on them, but the fact that this is rumored to be coincided with a reboot of the games makes me fear for what'll happen to the franchise if this comes true.
Admittedly, though, there are a few changes, reboot or not, that I can get down with. The idea of time travel being one of the main focuses seems interesting by itself, assuming SEGA (and the guys making this show) learned a thing or two from Sonic 06's story. I especially like the idea of Silver and Blaze's redesigns. Silver being an annoying neighbor to Sonic sounds like a great way to respond to fans, seeing how the fanbase always found Silver annoying (I personally don't), and the idea for blaze sounds decent enough. Atleast it doesn't change too much of her original backstory, so I'm up for it.
I know it's still just rumors, but I just want to share my thoughts on the matter.
