'Maybe the maker shows himself in the beauty of this world'

Said ex sister Leliana once upon a time. And maybe she is right... how do you know what is the maker and who he is? He--- THEY are unknown entities. You have never seen him, touch him or felt him. He is only there for the mere feeling of comfort that someone is watching you, an outer superior power which would protect you and love you, even if nobody would.
It comes to a point, where the maker has become a human made definition. You stare some things in the eye without knowing what they really are. For us humans are complicated, we vary minds and beliefs, but we want order then freedom, and we translate the unknown to what would fit out tastes, cast out the different and less popular, even if it was right.

Maybe the maker isn't even there, maybe he really is human made head to toe. But and although proof of his existence isn't there there is no aught to tell the believers.
Once upon a time things were simpler, but still, people hungered to believe. So they made their superiors god like, and believed. But not many believed in that, however, gods back then--- beyond the time of Thedas holding its name-- were always among us. But what can one tell? It is all lost, and perhaps it better stays a mystery for our good.

Ancient elves are no doubt strong and knowledgeable, their magic is one of tales and stories. They speak of power and wisdom, but they don't hold much emotions. Perhaps though they fell upon inquiring of these who did hold this queer minds which spoke of emotions and feelings. Maybe that is why demons now exist. For they hunger... for feelings.

One thing for sure, is that one of these gods was bound body and soul to the earthly culture once his curiosity got the best of him. His name is unknown for he holds none, his form doesn't exist for he is everything-- yet, one day he desired to hold a form and name of his own and so he went to search for one among these whom many other gods have watched over, among the curious and queer people of elves, humans and dwarfs... And so he found himself a body of a young male elf-- and from there it has gotten exciting for the young man. Although he should've known that someone like him, shouldn't exist among people like them...

Regardless, he didn't care and soon learnt many emotions, and even had himself a small family who adopted his child form. He grew attached to two young elven girls whom they soon started to call him 'big brother' and sooner he knew the feeling of love and family. He kept his magic secret from his loving new mother and rather weird father, but his two sisters knew all about his magic but didn't question him or love him any less. He felt... truly alive and didn't regret going through this-- at least for a while he didn't.

With years to pass-- The male grew up to realize humans didn't only feel but they suffered as well, he got the taste of it firsthand. His earthly father turned out to be an awful person, he held nothing of the warmth he felt with his sisters and mother. One day the man went mad, accidentally killing one of his daughters and then trying to cover up for his mistakes by killing the other witnesses these whom are his other daughter and his wife.
Anger was an uncontrollable feeling, the young god felt it and he thirsted for justice... he wanted his sisters back.

One way to do this; turn them into abominations and curing them. The male killed the father for revenge and bound his soul to one of his sisters whom he made possessed by a rage demon, thus; Mathir'al. And then came his other sister whom he made possessed by a desire demon but he needed a mortal life to bring her to her senses-- thus, Lydia's halla whom she took care of. The young god didn't really have much choice and killed the poor animal to bring back Lydia.

Once that done, the male wanted out of this world forever, with his now newly re-born sisters. So he went through the eluvian away from everything with his siblings. He came to a realization, the male can handle so much of his powers if not all.... but can't handle so much emotions these humans and creatures hold... power and feelings conflict, for one with so much power can't help but become selfish and use it for his own desires....

But upon his leave he left so much behind of what he have touched and gave too much power, like the eluvian mirrors for example. They all survived with centuries to come and soon enough-- he couldn't handle it. He felt like he corrupted himself, he shouldn't have been among the mortals as he has been, he shouldn't have given himself a form and a name... he shouldn't have learnt any emotion. And now these objects of power could be used by them earthly peoples so selfishly and carelessly.

He needed to end it all, and thus.... his whispers came to a young girl on Thedas' grounds; Ivanka.
