Nice, sunny beaches with decorative palm trees; warm, breathable atmosphere in which you only need to wear your 1.2 G exoskeleton... Local wildlife is said to be harmless, but the exo department admits it hasn't spotted all the fauna yet.
Obviously, they missed the soon-to-be named "Megabites" ( latin name: Megaxilla, contraction of "big jaw" ) but a few broken, bloodied and empty exoskeletons should call for a more thorough investigation.

Exobiology is fun, and since you can't leave your house, may as well travel far...

The pun in English was just irresistible, but something like "megavore" would work best in latin-based languages; also thought of a fun French "Megachoir", a contraction of "mâchoires" (jaws) and "hachoir" ( grinder ).
Since I tried to illustrate its hunting strategy by hiding it behind the palms, you may not notice at first that the big, three-parted jaw isn't this species' only spectacular feature: it has powerful hind legs like a giant grasshopper and split, hands+front paws front legs, all joining at the hip.
