Inspired by hungrybear2 , see link below for the story ( or see my fav "even darker" folder ), but before you click on it, know you'll probably won't like it ( pretty beefsteak on the passenger seat ends up raped and butchered ):
Trucker's ParadiseTRUCKER’S PARADISE by RC
It was a hot summer afternoon, and Buck was hauling ass down the interstate in an eighteen-wheeler when he saw the hitchhiker by the side of the road. Looked like some college kid. Probably out exploring the USA during summer break. The kid was shirtless, and Buck checked out his muscular body and nice tan.
Buck rolled both windows down and turned off the A/C as he hit the brakes and pulled off to the side of the road. There was a loud hissing sound as he applied the parking brake. Buck removed his T-shirt and tossed it on the bunk behind him.
Chad picked up his backpack and ran toward the truck. Reaching the passenger door, he opened it up and tossed his backpack onto the seat. Grabbing the handrails, he pulled himself up into the big rig.
“Throw your bag on the bunk.” said Buck.
Chad moved his backpack from the seat to the bunk, then sat down.
“Thanks for picking me up.” said Chad. “I’ve been out in that sun for over

Guess most will never understand why I'd spend quite a few hours illustrating such a story (and faving it AND commenting on it, for that matter) but the author is obviously someone who's not afraid of looking bad in others' eyes and I'm not either, so instead of talking to ourselves I offered this little artistic conversation...
An I keep calling to watchers' maturity and sense of adventure. Reading or watching extreme stuff is a mental sport and produces healthy and helpfull reactions into your mind.
Behind the things he writes and the things I draw ( the worst of it is not on DA... ) there's more than just throwing your inner trash at the face of the world. And NO, we're not waiting for others to say stupid things like " I've always wanted to be eaten or raped"... There's a thing called "cognitive bias" that prevent most people from understanding that but (few) others like my poor self do NEED to read or see such things, so...
And well, it also makes good stories and ( hopefully) pictures...

Message to the writer: got more to come, don't know how far I'll go into picturing your ideas, next one will be "Pigs" because the car accident is such a clever use use of imagery and violence... Later one I'll venture into the less showable, there'll be sex and possibly knifes to begin with... ( not here, obviously...)
and, this pic and your story would certainly gather more attention on my other page but I'm a little tired of awkward moments after sharing meaningfull -for me - stuff so it'll be just fine here.
