i read those philip pullman books when i was 11 or something and i thought they were awesome... northern lights, subtle knife and amber spyglass... probably my favourite books ever.remembering that, i picked them up again and im just getting into the first one... they've got awesome new covers now so im buying them again too.
i really cant recommend them enough, they are superb
i hope philip pullman sees this and asks me to illustrate a newer edition
that would be awesome
read the books, they'll blow your face off

i was so looking forward to the movie but it let me down on so many levels
plus, hearin that the dig at christianity had been diluted was irritating

i thought the bear-fight was one of the many things they tampered with too much... i walked in there fully expecting a heart to get ripped out. but yeah, everything in that movie was considerably sub-standard. my thinking is that Nick just wanted to make it more family friendly, at the suffering of the story.

wow. I never read the books but saw the theatre production and it was brilliant. This is really good, i love your style. Your characters look smilar to Vinnie Vertais' CCC stuff, witht eh exception of this peice.
