Description
My contest entry forKenshin and his little family watching the fireworks at the Sumida River in Tokyo. This particular festival takes places on the last saturday of July.

I love how you drew the bright light of the fireworks shining off their clothes, it's a wonderful detail that literally highlights the fantastic atmosphere and feeling of the entire image. Kenshin looks so relaxed and happy to spend some quality time with his family. A very sweet scene~!

And as for Kenji... Well, I personally think that what we see in the manga is just him going through a phase he'll grow out of. I don't like the OVA idea of him hating his dad forever. So... yeah. And yeah, with Kenshin as his father of course he was bound to be cute. ^^
