HiI can't believe I'm finally done with this picture *phew*
Took me quite a while (despite the simple look).
My old love for Kenshin has returned. Watched the anime recently, currently rereading the Manga and bought the Kenshin Kaden.
I also found Watsuki's new character concepts. Some of them were alright, some...not so much. I tried to draw Kenshin in this new version style (not sure if I like the two ponytails or the new scar).
I had to make those colors up...hope it works^^

I used the new design from Watsuki. Must admit that I wasn't too fond of the scar or the two ponytails but the overall concept is good
There wasn't a colorscheme given so I just made up my own, hehe.

Yeah he's not as hot-lookin with that scar. Kaoru doesn't look like Kaoru and Saitoh looks like a bum xp

I think that Kaoru looks really young with the new design and I don't like her hair at all (and where is her ribbon?).
Saitou looks cool!
And Aoshi looks...well, like one dude from Bleach : /

Her hair looks like noodles, (linguini I think?) to me.
Yeah I don't watch Bleach but thats what I thought when I saw AOshi. Misao looks even more like a boy. Kenshin is smex no matter what but I like the old version better. *massive drooling* same goes for Sano *nose bleed* and Enishi.... damn RK dudes are some fine pieces of 2-dimensional ass.

Trust and Betrayal ist zwar auch traurig, aber das erzählt ja praktisch nur, was man aus dem Manga eh schon kennt...das geht noch

ich kenn den Manga gar nicht so weit, obwohl ich Kenshin immer mochte. Waren zu viele Bände = Platzproblem.

Beautiful! I love the colors and the texture. It looks like a painting, but with the polish of digital coloring. And the details are wonderful. I love the plum tree.
Now I want to watch more Kenshin.

Ah no. He just revamped his designs. Those pictures can be found in the Kenshin Kanzenban (I don't know it it's available outside of Japan though). Watsuki drew those according to his vision of them now.
So this would be Kenshin if he were to start drawing the Manga now.
There isn't going to be a new Anime, unfortunately!...I would love to see the Jinshû arc animated (other than in the OVAs)

Well, instead of one ponytail, he has two in the new design. Plus the scar runs across his nose and he gets to wear a cape and boots...
