I think it's been long enough now that this has been published, that it's about time I posted some more of The Hollow Men around here!These are pages 2 and 3 of the story- I won't be posting the whole thing here, only a kind of extended 'preview'

Hope you enjoy the story! This was an absolute joy to work on and a labor of love.
These two pages were the hardest to get through- it's the most exposition, and I wanted to start moving into the meat of the story. They went through the most revisions in script and layout, but I'm really pleased with the final product.The moment with the birds felt really right, but was an idea that took a while to click into place. That first panel is still one of my favorite moments of color in the whole comic

Can I give a bit of a pointer? Typographies with serif such as the one you used here do not go well with comics because they take more effort to read and they take focus off the art, and these might be a bit too light.
I hope I didn't come off as rude. You know I adore your work!

oh, no worries! I had originally intended to handwrite all the typography, but the art took me right up to the deadline and it just had to take a backseat.
In the future I intend to give my lettering a little more love

Your art is always so beautifully atmospheric. Each panel has a sense of fluid, almost cinematic, movement leading into the next new scene.

Awesome. I just checked out Flight 8 from the library and when I got to this story I was like "Wait. This looks familiar... oh yeah, that's homarusrex!
