Description
One of the reasons I named him Filch is I was originally going to characterize him as something of a pickpocket. His hands would always be busy, pawing at things. We saw a little bit of him scavenging old scrap early on, but that's his job. For some reason, I just didn't end up fleshing out that part of him much, and he's usually very serious-minded in most scenes he's in. One of the more confusing characters I whipped up for the story, but he still turned out likeable. Just understated, I guess.
Filch is a former Predacon who defected to the Maximals when the two teams split. Very mechanically-minded, he's basically their Ratchet. His beast mode was inspired by the Raboon, a Baboon that's evolved to have a Therapod-like body plan from Dougal Dixon's "After Man." The "real" one has much shorter arms. I made his.... kinda long, if only to make him more expressive and dexterous. I guess this could be seen as a transitional stage leading up to the more traditional-looking Raboon people know.
