Yep, it's time to hear this again. [link]

No people, the visor does NOT shoot laser beams. That expulsion of energy was just an effect I felt like adding for.... whatever reason.

Also, I know the Thermal Visor you get in Metroid Prime is supposedly a product of the Space Pirates, but I'd like to think that it, like Mother Brain, was originally of Chozo origin... how else would it be compatible with Samus' suit if not made to fit into it? The Luminoth had some tech that was compatible with it in Prime 2, but they shared things with the Chozo, so of course their technology is similar. Anyway, here's a Thermal Visor left behind by the Chozo themselves.

Ever notice how much more muted the colors are when you use the Thermal visor underwater? Sure, it makes sense, given how cool the water is, but it's so much harder to make out shapes than when you're above the surface. Anyhow...

If another Ziamnai ever comes her way, at least she'll see it coming, this time.

In panel six, I made that spot on the ground a little brighter than the surrounding area, as is Samus acquiring the visor made a burst of heat there. Just a little something I felt like pointing out.
