Here is just a simple little sketch to end the year with and start the next one... Takua's inner child is distressed now that the face of Makuta is everywhere and all seems hopeless... Hopefully, this next year will resolve some things.Please comment! =]

This is a really good drawing. I haven't gotten this far in the story yet, but as Takua is my absolutely favorite character and always will be, I wish I had. You portray the emotion very well, and the style and execution is actually really nice. I like it a lot. <3

Takanuva: Where does my destiny lie now? (gets shocked into a vision)
Mata Nui: Toa of Light, Your destiny lies on Bara Magna. Find Tahu, and quickily, time is of the essence.
Takanuva: But wait, How are we supposed to get to Bara Magna? Mata Nui, Where are you going?
Mata Nui: You must know your way to Bara Magna, Toa of Light.
Takanuva: (sees Teridax) I know what he means now.
(Bara Magna)
Mata Nui: I hope he succeeds.
Ackar: Who were you talking to?
Mata Nui: I was contacted my world through the Strange Toa of Light, telling him to come to Bara Magna.
Kiina: You told this 'Strange Toa of Light' to come here? Alone?
Mata Nui: He's bringing Toa Tahu, the Toa of Fire.
Gresh: At least we need all the help we can get.
(Inside Teridax)
Tahu: Are you sure about this?
Takanuva: We can board the Canisters and would launch us to Bara Magna.
Tahu: I hope we don't get corrupted when we get there. (Launches two Canisters and Crashes in the Village of Tanjun)
Tahu: (opens Canister) Are we on Bara Magna?
Takanuva: (opens Canister) Yes, The Mask of Life's power can be detected, with luck, we can find Mata Nui.
(Cave)
Ackar: (hears rumbles) What was that?
Kiina: It feels like the earth is shifting.
Gresh: I don't know, Its not an Earthquake.
Mata Nui: The Toa are here.
Kiina: How do you know?
Mata Nui: Takanuva, the Toa of Light wears the Kanohi Avokhii, the Great Mask of Light. The Ignika can sense the Avohkii's power, and tracks its wearer.
Ackar: So it can locate the Toa?
Mata Nui: The Toa are already near the cave.
(Cave exterior)
Takanuva: This cave is built like its supposed to be hidden.
Tahu: (hears something) Company. Get out here, Now!!
Berix: You're..You're not one of the Skrall or the Bone Hunters.
Takanuva: Calm down. Who are you?
Berix: My name's Berix, Collector of the Village, most see me as a theif, Mostly Kiina.
Takanuva: Who's Kiina?
Berix: Oh yeah, I forgot seeing you two come out of your Canisters. Kiina is a Glatorian, one of the Best and always a little delusional saying that, there are other worlds out there.
Tahu: Well, Kiina is correct after all.
Berix: Well, when I saw your canisters hit, I ran in the cave. An Agori like me knows this cave really well.
Takanuva: Is an Agori some kind of villager?
Berix: Yes, Agori are multi-gendered villagers. Right now, you two are in Tajun, my home-village.
Takanuva: The Avokhii is going off like crazy, the Ignika is near.
Tahu: Follow us, Berix, we'll keep you safe.
(Sanctuary)
Takanuva: What is this place?
Tahu: This is no ordinary cave.
Berix: I should of mentioned that this cave has ancient technology.
Kiina: You!!
Takanuva: Huh?
Tahu: Huh?
Kiina: Berix, I told you to stay away from this cave!
Takanuva: I guess you're Kiina?
Kiina: You must be the Strange Toa of Light.
Tahu: Where's the Mask of Life?
Mata Nui: Calm down, Tahu.
Takanuva: Mata Nui, you're reborn.
Mata Nui: Yes, Takanuva. I see you brought Tahu.
Takanuva: This is where our destiny lies?

Ok... I don't see Makuta as a creature, but a single dark spirit. Second, I hate the new story. As far as I'm concerned, Metru Nui never existed. Except in my story...
But Makuta and a mental breakdown? Maybe. It would be out of character, though.

What's wrong with the new story? I've heard people complain that it's not simple enough, that there are "too many characters" and that the storyline has gotten "too complicated and bloated and nothing like it used to be"...
In MY opinion, there is no such thing as "too many" characters, ever, as long as each one is interesting in some way, which Greg Farshtey is very good at. He can make the most unexpected people appear at the most seemingly inappropriate times and somehow come up with a good reason, and I honestly don't see why others have a hard time keeping up with a complicated story. The more surprises there are, the more I love it. In fact, I think the new story lines were made exactly just for guys like me, since I've enjoyed almost every second of it since 2001 and up until now. Sure, I have found certain things over the years "weird" or "pointless" at first. But since then, there has been a reason for every little thing. I'm even starting to really like Bara Magna. I'm not a flake, I just don't mind changes in the story because I know they're all tied together and someday Greg will come up with a way to make everything make perfect sense...

Well, don't worry. Nothing's has really changed. Here's what I've put together so far out of all the puzzle pieces or whatever.
Even though Makuta rules the Matoran universe, Tahu and the others ARE alive, and they're battling his forces right now. So they haven't all been killed off or forgotten or anything. Also, Mata Nui is on Bara Magna now, but I think he's going to find a way to bring a new giant to life and inhabit it and return to defeat Makuta at some point in the next few years and everyone will go free! It'll just take a while, but eventually, it'll all fit together...
So, anyway, yeah, I'm gonna ride these few years out, just like I have been for the past decade.

Probably the thing I disagree with is moving from Mata Nui to Metru Nui... Oh well...
I still think there won't be anything like Mask of Light... That was what pulled me into it in the first place.

During the events of the 2004 movie, Pewku belonged to a Le - Matoran named Orkahm. A millenia later, Takua found her in the possesion of an Onu - Matoran crab herder who lived on the outskirts of Po - Wahi. Pewku took a liking to Takua and eventually was passed on to him. Then, Takua became a Toa, and he passed her on to Jaller, then Jaller became a Toa and returned her to her original master, Orkahm, who she is with now...
