Hello once again, fellow watchers and watcherettes!My last MiniCharacter upload was very well received and I thank you all for encouraging me in this crazy idea; I'll be trying to make one of these a day for as long as I can as both a warm-up/down and a way to test some things I wouldn't dare to on actual client work.
Today, it was Daenerys Targaryen's turn to step up to the plate. I wanted to see what I could do with a female figure in terms of stretching the anatomy and so forth. Also, the dragon was a challenge to stylise too, without making it too 'cute' or cuddly. Here's the result and, as usual, you'll be the judges.
For more information, this one took me about half an hour and it's tiny indeed; mostly using small scraps of paper leftover from my cutting the canvases for other work.
I'll catch up with you all tomorrow and remember to drop me a line as to whom you think I could do next.

I actually took the TV series as an inspiration, mostly because it is what people recognise more and the costume design of that show is amazing. I've read the books and I'd love to do a second take on the character, faithfully adapting it to the novel's description. I need more time!

Ah, I see! The designs of the serie is good, I think. I didn't see the serie, just random picture of it, and what tears my heart is the choice of the actors more than of the costume designs, ahah x)
Well, you only have this much time in a day ahah. But I'd look forward a novel version of Daenerys!

You have a very effective technique with light and shadow. The expression in the eyes of this character is as intense as it is haunting. Very fine work.

I haven't watched movies or TV regularly for like 10 years so suggesting anything from there isn't gonna happen. Well maybe Dave Lister or Kryten from Red Dwarf
I play video games instead, and it would be cool to see you interpret low resolution characters from older games, like Vivec (from Morrowind) or the Quake marine.
