The Punisher, 'Daredevil' Season 2

Hi there, fellow watchers and watcherettes!

These past few weeks have been insane with work and you have seen it reflected here on the Gallery: a lot of warm-ups and black and white pieces in-between assignments and overdue projects. This new piece is still the product of the small ammount of time I manage to get to myself whilst inking/coloring/drawing other folks' stories (usually about 35 minutes a day), with a twist.

For some time now I've been pushing the boudaries of my style, trying to take it to even simpler and more iconic levels, challenging myself to say the most with the least. One particular issue of mine being likenessess, which I was never very good at, is something I'm trying to get a handle on with as many lines as possible, so I can train my eye to look at the outstanding features of a face and traslate them to paper. Not an easy task, but a very fun one.
Thus, you get this Mini-Punisher, in a style much more exaggerated than usual but also (I'd like to think) compressing my uniqueness even more.

I loved Jon Bernthal's take on this classic character in the new season of Daredevil and believe me, after the week I've had, I'd love to bash in some skulls Frank Castle-style

As usual, any and all comments and critiques are welcome and I hope you enjoy this one as much as my more 'serious' work (if it can be called that at all )
