Te entiendo, yo también quiero dibujarlos lo más canon posible pero es difícil, para hacer a Papyrus tuve que hacer un "estudio de personaje" porque la gente directamente dibuja un esqueleto humanizado con sus rasgos y en verdad es de patitas cortas y brazos largos XDXD me costó pillarle el punto... y Sans me cuesta dibujarle los huesos gruesos... al principio me salía super delgado, sobretodo el torso, que directamente me quedaba plano... es que le quitas la chaqueta y ya no sé darle volumen XD

Totalmente la razón. Tuve que hacer lo mismo con ellos.
Hoy en día los dibujo tal cual canon excepto con ciertas proporciones ajustadas. Es cierto que los brazos de Papy son muy largos en el sprite.

A mí lo que me fastidiaba es que pensaba que el sprite de Papyrus lo hizo un poco contrapicado para darle un aspecto más cenital de rpg clásico, pero en verdad todos los personajes están mirando al frente y sólo el fondo es cenital... cuando luchas con ellos también están de frente y Papyrus tiene esas patitas cortitas y esos brazacos... llegué a la conclusión de que es el esqueleto de un gorila, eso explica también su simpleza de mente XDXD

Me acabo de comprar "Undertale sans big book of jokes for kids!" y no entiendo la mayoría de chistes en inglés... aunque viene uno que no es para niños y la gente suele arrancar esa pag.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, I didn't explain myself very well under the picture.
So basically, this is an attempt I made to keep Sans as canon as possible BUT with fixed proportions. His body is just too petite compared to his head, and he couldn't hold his own head in place on his sprite, he's like a Chibi. So there were some arrangements made. Also he's portrayed here to look 1.45 which I think would be his height, but his pants make it seem as if he's taller because they're black and straight and cover his whole legs (You're probably familiar with his fanon version of having shorts. Well... He doesn't have shorts. Those are obviously tracksuit pants, the typical black ones with the white stripe at the side.)
Hope this provided some insight and, I ended up keeping this "model" so to speak to draw him, as it's easier to manipulate on different poses, such as this one

It's some sort of misunderstanding. If you look closely at his sprite his legs are fully covered, they're not shorts at all. It also makes no sense for them to be shorts, he lives on a very cold place.

My pleasure. I am glad that you also noticed this when looking at his sprite, and the fact that his sleeves are already long. I always find it odd when people wear long sleeves or jackets on top of shorts.

Yeah, it's odd and it's kinda comforting he doesn't. His outfit is actually a rather typical, colour unmatched tracksuit. And it provides enough comfort for a cold enviroment. I'm sure that was Toby's intention, giving him shorts it's just... Like I know Papyrus says skeletons don't feel cold but they obviously do and he seems to have been joking.

It really is a lot of misunderstandings from the fandom. Papyrus makes a lot of jokes but his fanon version is the always-angry-at-Sans's jokes skeleton.

Thanks, but, that's how wide he is. If I made his shoulders broader he would look weird.
The "chubby" effect from the original sprite comes from him being unproportionaly short. Since this was a canon-but-proportional attempt, that was lost.
