Background:
Tahlia was born in Fallabor town. Her father was a farmer there and worked in the mountains every now and then. Her parents both hoped they would get a boy to help the father. But Tahlia was born and she was a girl. Her parents weren't that disappointed. Instead, Tahlia's father was all over her little girl.
Due to the constant love from her father she became a real daddy's girl. Her first pokemon was also given by her father. A present from the mountains; a little teddiursa. She adored it, she loved all the things her dad gave her. She clung to her dad all the time going with him to the lake and the mountains. She really wanted to help her dad and become just as strong as him but her dad wouldn't let her because the things he did weren't meant to be done by little girls. She felt pretty offended that she wasn't allowed to do something. Wanting to prove she wasn't weak she sometimes helped other people in the city. Most of them didn't let her so tough work either though. One of the citizens however, let her do some tough work and after she finished she felt really strong and proud. Wanting to witness this feeling more and get inspired by tough people she started having the will to travel. She told this to her father who, of course, didn't want her to. But she didn't give up, whining every day, following her dad everywhere, and at the age of 13 her dad decided to take her on a little trip around Hoenn. She took her Teddiursa and a Torchic from the farm with her. During the trip she witnessed a Onix and it was love at first sight. She loved this big tough creature. Her dad noticed and caught her one. Saying that if she took good care and make it strong she'd be allowed to travel on her own.
At her 16th she was finally allowed to travel on her own. And thus, she left town with her onix, the evolved combusken and teddiursa. On her trips she loved the mountains and the seas because that's where the toughest people were to be found. When in these towns and meeting these people she became pretty embarrassed of her cute Teddiursa almost never fighting with it and only letting it out when she was alone and needed a friend. When travelling she also got lucky and met a Ralts which cuteness she couldn't resist. It was still acceptable when Chopper was a Ralts but when he became a Kirlia Tal was shocked and embarrassed not wanting to show up with something that girly. Chopper, with his docile nature understood her feelings and let her evolve him to a Gallade with a dawn stone. After this it became one of her favourite fighters along with Rocksock, her onix, by that time already a steelix. Someone in Rustboro City helped her gave her the metal coat. After she saw most of Hoenn she caught a carvanha to travel the seas but carvanha's skin wasn't that comfortable. So after she heard wailmers would become huge wailords she caught a wailmer and traveled with that. She still told others that she came all the was on her carvanha though. Unconsciously she had created a very good team to survive with in the wild and since most tough people survive in the wild she decided to do the same.
In the end she arrived in Freeport town in the Ardha Region. Here she heard about Ridgerock town and went there immediately. There she fell in love with the population and of course the gymleader with his manly and tough pokémon.

Met: Hoenn mountains
Relationship: the closest to Tal, she uses him to travel over land, it also is one of her toughest pokémon and so, makes her looks tough (or so she thinks). The only person Rocksock warms up to is Tal.

Relationship: Understands Tal's feelings the most and tries to do everything to make her happy.

Relationship: was closest to Tal during her youth but because of Tal wanted to look tough Teddy got hidden more and more. Teddy has always been shy, likes it when Tal gives her attention and when she doesn't she's sad. One day Teddy found a Toxic Orb and wouldn't let go of it. Tal was concerned taking it from her every now and then but she'd always get it back. This is another reason for Tal to not let Teddy enter battle. Tal still sleeps with Teddy but keeps this a secret.
