all that work must have payed off, the leopards excellent! The painting has a delicate cold feel that reminds me of snowflakes.
About the title, it looks like shes longing for someone, a dead lover? and that loss has sucked all the sunshine from her life to the point where shes too focused on her own misery and cant see the others around her trying to help.

i just realised ...it reminds me of someone in "the golden compass" if you have red that...the animal is her daimon

a daimon is ones other half.
but instead of being inside the body, its on the outside.
it can take any animal shape it feel like until a certain age, then it becomes permanent
i would love to have one..its so cool ^^ you so have to read the books, they are awesome
