Yeah, I know what you mean with the squishy part Often I take that refillable bottle at the end, and a few health potions for sustain, and use my ulti to get out of sticky situations. However instead of the abyssal scepter I often buy a rod of ages, for the extra mana but also health. Not sure if Abyssal scepter is better though, I never tried it on her before You really do have to be carefull with playing her though, because you die 1, 2, 3 instantly even with a defensive item Though as a assassin and damage dealer in a group she is amazing It's fun using her combo and be amazed at the sheer amount of damage you deal!

For items I take the bottle (if things get though, I get the ring and Rod of ages for more sustain and tankyness after), always deathcap, then the challice for sustain (later red one), the hourglass. I keep hearing that that death scepter is good on her (the one with 120 ap, and a active that increases magic damage). Do you take that one too? It just seems a bit unwielding to always have to use it on one champion

Her, Fiddles& Veigar are glass cannons. Their usually the AP champs I use. XD

Rod of ages is a good starting item, getting it early in the game helps alot for her good sustain, and I usually don't buy health potions, just mana potions because I've set up my masteries for health regen for her. :>

True, the fun part of Ahri is when your Ult is ready, then you can start a deadly combo for her.

Death scepter? Did you mean the Deathfire Grasp? ;v; I'm not sure if I tried that one on her Veigar is mostly the one I give the Deathfire grasp.

My built for Ahri is usually; Rod of ages, Sorcerer's boots, Void staff, Zhonya's hourglass, Rabadon's deathcap& Liandry's Torment.

I only apply Abyssal scepter if I'm competing against a stronger AP mid lane opponent, because it isn't only just magic resist for you, but it also decreases enemy magic resist, similar to Fiddles' passive although it doesn't give him magic resist. :>

Ah, so you use quint of spell vamp? And then all mastery points in the offensive tree?

Ah I see Hmm, that does sound like a nice combo! And void staff reduces magic resist right?

As for Liandry's torment, isn't it better to use a item with more Ap? Like Rylai's scepter that slows your opponents and gives hp? Or is the damage from Liandry's torment, even though it's just current health, worth it?

Yes, 35% of their Magic resist is reduced. Great magic penetration as well.

Both actually. :> Because yes, as Rylai slows the target, Liandry deals health magic damage, adding some magic penetration as well Both these items make a good combo, no matter how Liandry can only give you half the AP power, it's good at keeping squishy champions last long during team clashes because of the huge HP it acquires.
