I don't like SSS that much and I wish they'd go ahead and call it quits. All of the original creators have left it to do other things and it's a project begging to die. Episode 3 was so crappily made and obviously rushed together I was actually very disappointed in the final release after the wait o.e
The fact Nifty herself does better quality animations in less time says it all xD

Even as a little kid that was obsessed with warriors, I didn't like it either.
I watched the episodes, and after, 8/9-year-old me was so confused.

Not to mention all of the videos on their channel complaining about how hard animation is and how much it sucks to do it. And how its the hardest job in the world. It just doesn't feel like they are enjoying it half of the time. They aren't having fun they make it seem like a chore. I want them to end it because it is never going to go through the first book anyways, and the animators clearly hate it.

I'm not saying their art is bad; the first episode was MIND-BLOWING. But surely we can all agree that Ep 3's quality was a massive downgrade from that. It was disappointing, and made me wonder why they did that to the project instead of just admitting they'd lost most of their team and it was over.
Very nice of them to donate as well, and that 10 second preview wasn't bad. But even that won't be useful if the majority of their episodes have been removed because of the popular anime music used xD
Ep1p1, ep1p3, ep2p1, audio was removed from ep2p3, and ep3p1.
Can't even watch the whole series now ;3; Ah, well.

Yeah, the third episode was kinda blahh in comparison. But I'm just thankful they didn't give up 'cause of the new episode that'll more-than-most-likely come out next year. xP Its really great to see them 'back in business'.
That sucks, too. x3 I really wish that they didn't use the music, now that their videos are being token down. Or if they would just go back and edit that stuff out would be nice, too...

As long as the next episode isn't as rushed as the third (and doesn't go even more off-track from the books, which did make it new and interesting for an old reader, but any more extreme than that and it might lose it's charm,) I'm just fine seeing them back up and working.
Although SSS being SSS I wouldn't be surprised if took it until next Christmas and on out to release.
Yep. Granted I know it was 2008/2009 then, but even at that time surely they knew copyright and copyright claims were a thing xD Nowadays at least it is very well known not to use anything mainstream, especially popular anime music. YouTube loves taking those down.
It's probably going to be hell to go back, edit, and re-upload all those episodes. If they even still have the original files.

It was kinda interesting to see them venture away from the actual books, and I think it IS kinda nice, as long as it doesn't get outta hand. And as the preview shows, I don't think it will nearly be that bad. xP Its cool to see how much the teams improved, too, with their new animators and whatnot. But yeah, it'll probably be some time before the next episode sees light. I think it will pay off, though.
They should have, anyways. x3 Hopefully they don'y make the same mistake with the future episodes...it'll be a real shame if they do. But sense it was quite some time ago, they probably don't have the original files... Eh, it would still be neat.

I personally love the sss style. I feel like, even though it's like anime, the anatomy is usually pretty accurate. Love this!

I know your comment is from 2014, but that's just how the animators pictured him as. Looked a bit strange to me at first too, but I can't complain. Plus there's actually a feral cat where I live who I ended up naming Lionheart, and he pretty much has a "mane" XD funny though how he's super nice to people, but he wants to maul my cats. Yikes.Β

I like and dislike the SSS Warrior Cats style, but your art is very good!! (I only dislike the SSS style because I generally dislike cats in "anime" style, but I have nothing against the art!!) Keep doing what you're doing!

What's fun about the SSS style is that the cats have a simple structure at the core, which makes it easier to add special characteristics like Whitestorm's lanky build and Lionheart's mane and stocky body.Β
The apprentices all have similar body types, presumably so they can grow into different shapes over the course of time.Β
Working with this style can be fun, considering you'd now have space and reason to add defining traits to your own characters.
