Yay! More of my PvZ humanizations in their cute costumes!!
I know Hypno Shroom was confirmed male in the Almanac, but there is no way I am ever going to stop using my female Hypno Shroom humanization. I think that this one came out the best, because I think that working the floral print on the Hypno Shroom's costume into her skirt looks pretty good. I wanted to portray her dressed up as a 1970's hippie girl, since the costume gives off that groovy vibe and all, plus I love 1970's clothing. I also added a loose blouse, a braid off to one side, and a pair of gigantic silver hoop earrings. I have to say, this is the first picture of her I've drawn so far where her eyes are showing (she wears swirly goggles), and I think that while she looks less "hypnotic" that way, I wanted to show here that she's actually beautiful without her swirly goggles.
It's weird to me that I decided to draw my Fume Shroom humanization with a full costume, since he wears his "costume" at all times in human form-his thick frameless glasses. I felt that thinking up a good costume to go with the glasses was unnecessary, so I just drew him in a somewhat uncomfortable three-piece suit. Why do I suddenly love his hair?
Puff Shroom and Repeater both got Viking hats, so I decided to draw them in really similar Viking costumes, and Puffy is acting like he's so totally original when it's obvious that he copied his off of Repeater's. I think that Repeater has a better costume because it's more detailed than Puff Shroom's, but I'll let you be the judge here.
Sun Bean is dressed as the Statue of Liberty (I don't own any colored pencils that are the same exact color as the real one), and due to him carrying a (lit) torch, he's afraid he'll burn a non-undead someone with it. I would be too.
Peanut and Chomper are just wearing things that I guess would work with the costumes. I gave the former a pair of floaties and a beach bum-type outfit, and I like the goggles on his head, too. Chomper is just wearing a tennis uniform.
Magnet Shroom is dressed up as Magneto, a supervillain from X-Men, whom I only know about because a friend told me about his cape. I have never seen X-Men movies or comics, so I hope that I got the costume right (I had to look it up on the Internet). Sun Shroom is dressed up as Jason Voorhees (I'm not sure I spelled it right) from Friday the 13th, and again, I've never seen that movie, so I had to look him up as well.
