GAWD!!! What started out as a simple drawing that took only a few minutes to do-and to complete wnated to take maybe two hours has ended up taking over four with the digital coloring and all those stinking lense flares for the sparkly dress.So yea, I watched Roger Rabbit tonight with my dude. And I suddenly became very inspired to draw a character. I had not drawn Jessica since I was in the 5'th grade so I thought it might be fun. Too bad I don't have time for any other character. I do like how this came out considering it was very "on the fly" but I am really happy with just the line art itself as well so I may post the line art as well in my scraps or something. What I do NOT like about this piece is that she has a lot more shape to her and then when I put in all those dots, a lot of her shape disappeared....bummer. but all in all I am quite happy with it! Hope you al like it!

I really like it too. Very funny. Not my fav but it was so masterfully done, even today it's impressive. Hey, does that mean that you would accept it into your Disney clubs? I only ask because when I went to the Disney Dreamers site I didn't see anything about Touchstone on there so I didn't think you'd accept it. Thanks for the comment!

Her dress is so sparkly and... awww.. This just came out so well! You draw a very lovely Miss Jessica Rabbit, I have to admit that. Heheh... *wants that dress*
You've definitly capture her sweet and sexy personality in this picture. I can almost see her up on stage or.. something.

It's funny that you should say that because in order to get just the right look for her I watched her big stage number several times in slow motion to find the exact frame I wanted in order to draw Jessica. HA HA!!! I thank you muchly for the really nice comment. *wants dress too but it looks like the sparkles would be extra itchy so I don't even think about it..LOL!* Thanks again!

Though I'm sure the 5th grade counterpart to this piece is well done, this particular piece is simply stellar work! Isn't it funny how something that starts out to be a teeny tiny project, ends up being a four hour labor of love? You've once again outdone yourself with this piece, as I think it's killer work! The coloring truly augments the great linework, and the effects? The effects for this piece are amazing! Placing each and every lens flare must have taken some time to complete, but the end result speaks for itself! I can't possibly say enough good things about this piece, so I'll finish this by saying that it is truly excellent work!

I think we can all agree you did an AWESOME job! I love it! I don't think the shiny little dots effect anything, then again, I didn't see it before coloring.

Dude, yea....the drawing itself took less than an hour the coloring, blending, and effects took the rest of the
time. It was just meant to be a little something and turned in to a 4.5 hour long project. 
As for the shiny dots, they are actually the sparkles on Jessica's show gown when she is singing.
That dress is SUPER sparkley. I HAD to put the sparkles on it!
This was achieved with Photoshop lens flare on the lower settings. So horray for the sparkliness. They aren't
there to actually do anything other than look....sparlkey. HA HA!!! Thank you so much for your comment!
