Ability: Control of toxic waste! In care you are wondering, this is what 'control of toxic waste' implies: this stuffy is nasty. and gross. leave the stuff on grass too long and it shrivels up like a sad puppy. It doesn't kill adventures or any other sorts, but the stuff burns. And, well, it can make your life pretty miserable if you stay in it too long. Stuff like leukemia. But that would never honestly happen, since Carcyn doesn't really like to drown people in toxic waste. He's already gone down that road.

Also, he has minions! Little globs of toxic waste that take many different shapes and run around. They aren't particularly intelligent or strong, but they keep him company and can be adorable... at times.

Personality: Carcyn is... Carcyn is a lazy butt, most of the time. But he's also passioned. He either puts all his energy into one thing and works on it tirelessly on end, or it bores him to death and he would do anything to go crawl back into bed. He likes to take advantage of people's innocence and gullibility, if they have any. He's curious and mischievous, and likes messing with people's lives, especially royals when they're not getting on his nerves. He can hold long grudges against people he think are pure evil and can be cruel if he ever gets his hands on them. With his friends, he cares about them and (obviously) likes them, but is not usually very good at expressing it, and often shows his affection through teasing and annoyance, like a sibling.

Not so long ago, in a kingdom outside our knowledge, we meet a boy in a world of strangers. A young boy that lived with his dearest family in a small little hut which they endearingly called home. Before we go any farther, let's get this out of the way: their king was a jerk. A royal pain the butt. One of those harsh, cruel guys who demanded tribute from their citizens and wouldn't have any butts or otherwise, no matter what the situation was. The type of guy who would slaughter your family in front of you. And our cute little hero, being innocent and daring as he was, saw the king for who he was and had no fear in his dainty heart for all the steel the king commanded.

But dearest mother and father did. And dearest mother and father were not particularly in possession of anything valuable that a hideous king might want. And so they had to come up with a way, any way, to get the horrid king off their back and keep their darling family safe.

But as far as the eye could see, the land was barren and waste, every scrap snatched, every stone turned, 'till nothing but emptiness lay on the horizon. Except for one place. The Valley of the Drums.(? ) No one ever went there, and for good reasons too. But no matter how many good reasons there were, none of them could fight the iron will of a mother protecting her child. And so she went to the land of waste where animals with strange mutations roamed and hissed, scurrying to and fro, and cancer lurked in every oozing pore from leaking drums. But there must be something here. Some silver or metal that could be melted down to be used as bargaining chips. And while she searched endlessly through the valley, her son did what he did best.

Get into trouble. And this particular time, trouble entailed a hop and a skip, upon a mighty oil drum tower, fighting the evil sorcerer whose name was 'Shadow,'-- a formidable foe indeed, mirroring every blow and strike, parrying with magnificent moves, and with one swift swoop, the boy tumbled down, and SHPLASH!

Down he sank, into the pool of oozing green, grasping for anything, but only silky goop whisked by his fingers. And though her mother tried with all her might, her poor boy was lost down in the deep, consumed by the seeping waste, and it seemed like the end for our poor villain.

Little did he know, this was no ordinary waste.This was waste that had been consumed by mythical, some might even say... magical powers. And a barely sentient being of waste crawled in through his skin, and he found himself alone no longer.

And when he was able to crawl out of the pool of ooze, it no longer itched and burned at his skin. It felt soothing actually. Natural. But that wasn't the only thing that changed. The utter sense of loneliness and emptiness was no more. Someone was there.Someone was inside him... watching?

"I saved you."
Who?
"I saved you."
The voice is so familiar.
"You were dying."
...
"I'm helping you. I'm keeping you alive. It's why it does not burn anymore."
It was himself, his own voice echoing back to him.
"Get out."
"You'll die."
The boy felt his mouth curve into a smile.
"...Besides. I like it here. I've always wanted to live like you, the above landers."

This went on for awhile. The two bickering back and forth in one body, and it must be certain any ravaged passerby thought the two insane. The boy cried for him to leave, to go, for things to go back to normal.
But things would never be the 'normal' the boy once new. And he would never leave. He was his new shadow. His new self. A vicious self who craved the unknown and the terror and joy of the world, rushing at him all at once, to live a new like he never had before, which for the most part, he hadn't 'lived' at all. Over time, the boy and the self merged to one. Years of dreading together, tensions rising and falling wore down their differences, and their minds came together to create a new person; Carcyn.

And from the ashes of their minds Carcyn arose, a new man born with a hatred for royalty alike or different to the king he once knew, fueled by the monster's rage and grudges. The monster also powered his tendency to be impish and haughty, yet controlled by the boy's morals of right and wrong...

And yet... there might be a simple hint from both that no longer wished to be alone, in this world of strangers.

SHORTENED VERSION:
TL;DR Boy from an oppressive kingdom slips into toxic waste and nearly dies, and lives by sharing his body with magical toxic waste monster who over the years blends into the boy's mind and they become one person. Curiosity and impishness of the monster mixes with boys hatred for royalty to make this wonderful miscreant today.

CURRENT: Carcyn lives in his 'republic' with his minions/citizens in an abandoned energy plant that still stands from the mushroom war. It is pretty darn dangerous and could crash down any day now, but it makes a suitable home for our villain and his band of misfits for the time being. He occasionally wanders out to explore, mess with adventurers, and occasionally cause havoc in nearby kingdoms, sometimes managing to even kidnap a royal or two to scare the bejeebus out of with a horror show act.

Miscellaneous:
+dislikes royalty, especially the snotty and stuck up kind
+can eat anything. literally anything. (highly corrosive fluids comes in handy sometimes)
+likes sweet and sour foods best however
+not artistic in the least
+good with technology (or repairing it, at least. things like broken equipment/robots/whatever)
+He lives in an abandoned power plant (as stated above) which is stocked with computers and TVs. He even has many labs where analyzes various things in ooo. (pretending to be a scientist is fun, yo)
+He likes to watch and play horror games. Sometimes he likes to mess with the royalty he kidnaps by pretending he's an insane sociopath who wants to cut them open and do weird surgeries
+His (secret) favorite movies though are romance. He has a giant stash hidden.... SOMEWHERE. And when he watches them he cries like a baby
+HE'S SUCH A CLUTZ I MEan he almost killed himself for falling into a toxic waste pit omg ANd HIM WEARING A CAPE DOESN'T HELP EITHER (THOUGH IT ADDS SOME SERIOUS STYLE POINTS)
+he doesn't like spiders, as most respectable people should. this entails, a)screeching bloody murder at the top of his lungs b)climbing on top of things and people for protection c)throwing EVERYthinG d)all of the above
+he likes to be dramatic and plans things out. What else could you expect from a weird green kid who wears a cape and lives by himself with the exception of his non-verbal subjects?
+he has an intense opponent for elections. A rock. He is formidable. Do not underestimate the low-level enemies. They will come and get you when you least expect it. Carcyn learned this the hard way.
+He is a shortie but he don't really care! (easier to sneak around kingdoms, yeah?)

+His biggest fear is drowning, for obvious reasons. You'll pretty much have to shove him to get him into a pool or swampy place, and even then he'll probably just flip out and start drowning.

ROYALTY: The mean, snobbish, or naive prince or princess. (or king or queen you get it) He'll obviously enjoy messing with the snobbish and naive people, but the cruel royal he will have serious issues with. Issues that will be solved with sandwiches. SANDWICHES MADE OF FISTS!!!

ADVENTURERS: He'll like to mess with very devoted and loyal to their royals, and those who are ignorant and also naive. (naive people are the best you know) He doesn't like it when they beat him up though. (he is not a masochist) He'll most likely start forming a grudge against them if he never gets to have any fun with them.

VAMPS: Vampires are cool. They are super cool. Unless they are lame, in which they case they are not super cool. (but in all seriousness, considering most vampires are tricksters themselves; they'll be the most likely people he befriends quickly... one he finishes fanboying over them.)
