Description
To touch,
brush gently of fingers,
held excitement in the air.
                                    To breathe,
                                       takes to long of a pause,
                                          not so much bothered
                                             by the tremble in ones chest,
                                          taken as needed.
              To whisper.
      feeling your lips quiver
   as the words rush the ear
but make soft,
                     mute,
                              noise,
              falls silent,
   ....but to the wake of a listening ear.

To see,
eyes closed,
farther than the obscured vision
of a closed mind,
feel the pull through sight
rather than rely on misleading eyes alone.
                                                      To fear,
                                                      the excitement in a moment
                                                      too much to grasp on a second,
                                                          holding,
                                                                     only barely in a moment,
                                                                        that's daring to make
                                                              frightened take a chance.
           To tempt,
like the pulse rushing through,
       skip a heartbeat,
in the sense that an action taken toll,
  for the words placed like bait,
afraid to wait,
                    for what's to come.

To hear,
heartbeats shaking in a chest,
the breathing of the desperate,
wanting time to suppress long enough,
    for the want to take effect.

To taste,
            the tears
                        splashing
                          down
                            close,
                                     of a lover,
                         close enough to touch their lips
                          with shaking hands,
                and see the clouded corners of their eyes.
To kiss,
away the bitter,
and just barely taste tomorrow,
Holding onto the passion in the moment,
Wrapped gently in each others arms.

                      To wait,
                         Cheek to cheek,
                               Holding close,
                                    Never letting go,
                                       And feeling something new stir inside,
                                           And feel everything around still
                                               and wait for this miracle to never end...
