It's been SO LONG since I've drawn any Narusaku, and that makes me sad. so sad. Because I love them SO much.OTP <3 <3
SO,
I was at work and had this little idea in my head of Naruto and Sakura just enjoying their time alone, after finding out that sakura was a few weeks pregnant.
They're reminiscing and all at once trying to imagine this new life, this new adventure waiting for them.
The life of a family.
The adventure of parenthood.

Stupid Hinata, giving Naruto a pep talk. I like Hinata as a character (hell, I ship her with Kiba), but I have a feeling..... She'll die.

The way I see it, Naruto just really needed someone at that moment. Hence the hand holding... she wasn't even holding it back, her hand was limp.
Besides it was a very intense moment with Neji dead and all, it's only natural that you'd cling to whoever was with you.
Im so so glad Hinata grew a backbone that chapter (even though she's far from being a favourite) And it's something that needed to happen for her. Her developement is done now. Naruto also needed that hand for chakra transfer XD
I'm not wishing for her death, because she is the heiress to her clan and she needs to stay alive for those changes in the clan to happen (because she shares the same beliefs that naruto does, so when the time comes, she can help change things.)
Though I do hope I don't see her anymore at all after this little fight, until the series is over... Im actually so tired of hyuugas and Uchihas... XD

Do you think them two will really be together? I thought it might possibly be cannon though I don't read the manga of Naruto only Bleach. But I've kept up with all the jap episodes of Shipudden, it may be Saske-Sakura. And that episode with the battle of Pain and Sage mode Naruto when Hinata (or whatever) expresses her love for Naruto on ep 166? I thought maybe Naruto-Hinata. Sakura-Naruto still seems possible though, but she is so obsessed with Saske! Somebody slap her and maker know Naruto truly loves her!

Normaly ,it's hard for people to see it if they only watch the anime... I've been following the manga for 11 years now and I can tell you with 250% confidence that the end pairing, if there is one, will be narusaku.
I don't really understand how a man who's tried to kill you twice will ever be able to do a complete 180 and suddenly love you, so sasuke... is out of the question...
and Hinata.. as sweet as she is, I think people expect way too much of her character... she's a side character... im sorry but she's not the one who's going to get what she wants, because the focus is more set on the main character and what HE wants. (in Naruto's case, in terms or romance, it's Sakura)
There are so many things that factor in as to why Naruto and Sakura work best together but I could ramble about it for hours....

Is the manga different from the anime (no fillers), and is it much further ahead of the anime?
I do agree will you on Naruto and Sakura! That would be best! Sasuke can have Hinata.

The manga has no filler whatsoever.. The anime likes to play a lot of the minor characters up because it pleases the audience. For example, Hinata is ALWAYS brought up in the anime, while in the manga, I can count on both my hands how many times she's actually been involved in the plot...
The anime is FULL of filler, even in the canon episodes.

Naruto's apartment
Sakura: "Naruto, how do you feel about being a dad?"
Naruto: "Sounds good, is that all, Sakura-chan?"
Sakura (incredulous): "Naruto, I meant that I'm pregnant."
Naruto: "Yeah, I got that. Want to go for a walk."
Sakura: "A-A walk? Didn't you hear what I said, Naruto? I'm PREGNANT."
Naruto (shakes head): "I get it, Sakura-chan. You're pregnant. You're gonna have my kid. We're gonna be a family. Do you want to go for a walk?"
Sakura gapes
Naruto: "C'mon, Sakura-chan. Let's go for a walk."
Sakura wordlessly takes his hand and let's him pull her out of the apartment; they walk through the streets of the Leaf Village.
Naruto (grins): "Why are you dragging your feet?"
Sakura: "I...I didn't expect you to react like this..."
Naruto (raises eyebrow): "Hmm? What do ya mean?"
Sakura (embarrassed): "Well...I thought you'd be jumping for joy or screaming or SOMETHING! I didn't expect you to just accept it so calmly!"
Naruto (chuckles): "Since when do I ever do anything like anyone expects?"
Sakura: "True...Where are we going anyway?"
Naruto: "The Hokage Monument. Got to climb on Dad's head."
Sakura (confused): "Why?"
Naruto (shrugs shoulders): "Better echo?"
Sakura: "Huh?"
Naruto: "Well, I got to make sure the whole village hears me when I yell out that you're having my kid, you know?"
Sakura (splutters): "The whole village?! You mean you're going to shout...and...and tell the whole village and...Naruto! Honestly?!"
Naruto (confused): "Well, yeah. This is news worth shouting about!"
Sakura: "'News worth shouting about'? (she pauses and begins to laugh) I should have known you'd do something like that! Now that's the Naruto I know!"
Naruto (smugly): "And, love."
Sakura (grins brightly): "Right, and love."
The two walk for a couple of minutes in silence.
Naruto: "So, I was thinking that whether it's a boy or a girl, we could name is Ramen."
Sakura: "Not a chance in hell."
