So anyone who's seen the leaked opening for Legend of Korra, will notice the man airbending, is most likely Aang. Another thing you might have noticed... he has a beard. SWEET!I didn't expect that! (loves facial hair too)
DDSo yeah, here's Aang, with his incredible awesome beard!
I was trying to age him properly, so I hope it turned out alright. I am personally happy with it
So yeah, I dont see Aang getting facial hair until his mid thirties, and that's how old I depicted him here.
I also didn't want to draw him serious for once. I mean, he can be, but Aang will always have a child's heart, and that side of him will never disappear no matter how old he gets. So I wanted him to look mature but with a mischievious glint still in his eyes.

I like that there air ball. How many layer's did that ball take to make? You make power and energy look so real. I'd be awsome to see what you could do with an action drawing of two people fighting! Maybe Naruto vs Avatar Aang!

Oh and since I have your attention haha I am so obsessed with this sexy older version of Aang that I captured my sister and threatened to sell her into slavery unless she drew me and Aang haha. And she did, you should see how epic I look and how smexi Aang is.

the arrow IS there.
because the whole scene is coloured in sepia tone, and theres a blurr effect, the arrow blends right into everything... it's not clear, but if you can find a still image of aang, it's there. You just gotta get a closer look.
besides, it wouldnt make any sense if it was anyone other than Aang. Korra SAID "Aang" when Tenzin was running towards her.

I just watched the 4th episode of Korra and their was a flashback of Aang and the gang and he looks EXACTLY like this!He has the same facial hair

well... today's episode (4/28) they showed a "past scene" that acted as a flash back for Korra, and this is pretty much exactly what he looked like!!! GREAT JOB! I really like it!

Yeah, the guy that you saw in the preview is Aang's son. Korra existed as soon as he died. Since 70 passed after the defeat of the fire nation, and considering that Aang was technically 100 years, He must have died around 50 to 55 years after the fall of Fire Lord Ozzai, making him 155 years old when he died. This would make Korra between 15 and 20 years old at the start of the new series.
The first episode implies that Katara had at least three children with Aang, one of them being Tenzen, the guy you saw in the preview. Since Katara was still alive by this episode, she must have been around 12 to 14 years old at the end of Fire Lord Ozzai, making her at the start of Korra at 82 to 85 years old. If Tenzen was the youngest of the siblings (I'm just assuming here) and he appears to pass 35 to 40 years old (given by the fact that her oldest daughter appears to be around 10), most likely he was concieved when Katara was either entering or passing her 40's.
Why am I telling you this? Because this series is so frickin' AWESOME...

I already know all this... to every detail. Believe me, Ive been following this series for years. And You do realize im talking about the opening right? what preview are you refering too. I know who Tenzin is, and I know that is NOT him in the opening.
