Description
I really loved Jack’s colonial outfit and I wanted a chance to draw it. This is it!
I decided to be a bit different with this piece… I didn’t use my usual colouring style, and I’m so okay with this! XD

Jack probably didn't like any of the other fashion styles, and you can't really characterize a 300 year old, truly nineteen or twenty yearold.

Well yeah, but his theme is Ice and fun. Santa has a workshop and helpers, wears a big hefty coat, has naughty-nice tatoos; Toothfairy's all flittery and hyperenergetic, like a hummingbird.
Sandman is quiet and made of sand.
Even Bunnymund has his own thing going on.
Yet Jack, being from the ye olden times, wears a modern, solid blue hoodie... there just seems to be a lack of symbolism in his design in reguards to his character.
Though, it could be due to the fact that no one beleives in him yet.

He can touch things.. He cant touch PEOPLE.
Notice that when he was running around, at one point he pushes off the side of a truck, and another point he jumps on a car and the alarm goes off.
He can touch objects, but people cant see or touch HIM.

Well, sorta. If you watched Noragami, you see that a regalia is essentially invisible to all human senses. And whatever they considered theirs would endup being invisible too, but they were solid.
This is sorta what happened with Jack, but more of a ghost with humans being able to pass through him.

Jack looks like he belongs to Middle Earth in "The Lord of the Rings" or he can be the guardian of the woods, the forest, the winterland, the mountains, the glaciers, frozen water, etc. Here, he's depicted as a stong and steady figure who can lead others wisely, fairly and kindly. In a way, he looks like a prince, lord or duke. He can also be a mage or an apprentice to one. Even a page-turned-squire who will earn his knighthood soon. And he would have deserved it.

This is gorgeous, the faded frost on his clothes. I love his expression, it's such a big turn around compared to the Dreamworks one we are shown to love. I think this is most fitting with him figuring out he died. I wish he stayed by his sister's side, that way, he gets to watch her grow up and we'll find out if Jamie is related to him through the generations.

I liked this outfit more than the hoodie. I hope he gets something more... 'traditional' in the future. XD Not the weird jingle shoes thought, he's perfect shoeless. But I think he'd look classier with something... well, like this I suppose. More... "ceremonial". I don't really know the word to describe it XD
