A concept from my book: character Martien Grunt, father of Ginevra and Mirabell Grunt and guardian of Γron Erthagenough info bout my book and more bout the paiting
PAIN IN THE A** took me ages to finish this and i think it still could be alot better unless u guys show me other wise i want critiques on everything specially and more on the paiting side
im currently studying these kinds of paiting and this is the level i want to reach:

so tell me eveything i know it's not even close to these ones but im practicing like crazy so again i beg of you to criticize everything
and i still think DA as put too many categories it's really hard to find the accurate category for this

if you wanna reach that level...first you need to draw the sword at a slightly different angle...to get more of a 3d/realistic aspect
the rest is just your colouring....if you brush your colouring skills up thats up you have to do ....keep up thr work

I do think the sword is a little too big, if you see it's relationship to his hand. It looks like he wouldn't be able to lift it or swing with any kind of accuracy. Nice coloring on the plate armor

qell regarding the sword i wanted it to be that big or at least huge
i wnated him to look strong as well to manage to maneuver that sword accuratly
in this case i dunno i think ur right ill think on it then ill see what i can do

no i made sure everything was perfect relating to his anatomy i had models posing (my gret friend the anthro doll) i think its related to the paiting itself

i dont use it very often as well just when its absolutely necessary (when im having doubts or trouble drawing a limb)
i mastered the anatomy ages ago (well at least some part

and ur anthro pics rock so i wouldnt want u using the anthro doll (it would ruin ur lovely pics)
