surprised how quickly i finished this character illustration, maybe it was the holiday spirit or something like that

anyways like i previously said on the concept sheet for his armor, i decided to tweak the design of the armor and add some extra elements
i used a different approach this time and painted first using a grayscale to define lighting and afterwards repainted the whole thing, it's a different method from the usual grayscale, if possible full view to see all the details
the thumbnail looks perhaps a little too dark

heres some information on this character

"Raziel took the place as king of Amaldan afer murdering his older brother, the good king, Razikiel. Soon after becoming the most powerful force in the continent his corrupt ways and the fear he instigated upon the people lead to the creation of the Rebel Forces. Their sole purpose was to overthrow the king. Éron, Ivor Ginevra and Hubris will be fighting for their lives as they try to reach Amaldan and dethrone Raziel with the help from the rebbelion. Mirabell aids Raziel as is Val'Ishtar (high sorceress) , she was recruited by the lord himself for she had a secret he intended to attain, they both develop later on a relationship that catches them both by surprise... the rest will be unveiled as the books come out"

update from 2009 last year august and the other one is from way back... ok 2008, september i think

funny thing
last year i forgot to add the belts as well and added them later, same here, ill finish them off an update this

book has been reviewed but needs a lot of fixing before being taken to the editor
so may take another while...
unfortunately im not like Daniel Luvisi
