Did you know spiders have this kinda colourless-blueish blood? (blood colour exaggerated because I guess they're filled with blueberries in this comic)

Most arthropods and many molluscs have hemocyanin, a copper-based counterpart to hemoglobin. Normally is a whitish color, but turns blue-green upon exposure to air.
